Awario pricing: three plans from $29 a month and the storage cap under each one
The numbers Awario list prices and plan limits, checked 17 October 2026
Awario's Starter tier collects 15 times Brand24's entry quota for about one-seventh of the price.
On Starter, the storage ceiling across three topics holds 15,000 mentions, half of the 30,000 the plan collects in a month.
A full year of Enterprise on annual billing, $2,988, comes to about 6% of the median Brandwatch contract.
Awario’s about page promises unlimited historical data on every plan; its own help center caps storage at 5,000 to 50,000 mentions per alert.

Awario sells three self-serve plans, and the cheapest costs $29 a month on annual billing. That buys 30,000 mentions a month, three topics and one seat, according to the Awario pricing page checked on 17 October 2026. Pro runs $89 and Enterprise $249 on the same terms; month-to-month billing lifts the three to $49, $149 and $399.
This report works out what each tier costs over a year, which features sit behind Pro, and the stored-mention limit that decides how much of a month's quota a team can keep. It prices Awario against Brand24, Mention, Brandwatch and Meltwater, and quotes the buyer complaints about renewals and refunds in full.
It also documents five places where Awario’s own pages give two different answers to the same buying question: how much history a plan keeps, how many mentions it stores, what annual billing saves, what the top plan costs and what Facebook monitoring covers. Ten statements, all on awario.com, all checked on 17 October 2026, and they sit in one table below.
It's written for founders, small marketing teams and agencies setting a social media monitoring budget under $5,000 a year. At that size Awario and the enterprise suites sit tens of thousands of dollars apart, so the devil's in the details of the quota and the storage cap.
How much Awario costs
Awario prices on two units at once: mentions collected per month and topics, which the company calls alerts. An alert is a keyword or set of keywords the tool watches; a mention is any post, article or set of comments that matches it. Every plan allows unlimited keywords per topic, in any of the languages a buyer wants to track.
The same quota pays for every source. Awario's social media monitoring collects social media mentions from social media platforms alongside news sites, blogs, forums and web articles, per the features page, and each of those brand mentions lands in one feed with its author, reach and sentiment attached. A company that tracks its name across the internet spends quota on a forum thread exactly as it does on a tweet.
Over twelve months the three plans cost $348, $1,068 and $2,988 on annual billing. Pay month to month and the same year costs $588, $1,788 and $4,788. A Starter buyer on monthly billing pays $240 more for identical limits.
| Plan | Annual billing, per month | Monthly billing | Year on annual | Year on monthly | Mentions per month | Topics | Stored per topic | Team members |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29 | $49 | $348 | $588 | 30,000 | 3 | 5,000 | 1 |
| Pro | $89 | $149 | $1,068 | $1,788 | 300,000 | 15 | 15,000 | 10 |
| Enterprise | $249 | $399 | $2,988 | $4,788 | 1,000,000 | 100 | 50,000 | Unlimited |

Awario's plans, tier by tier
Starter: $29 a month
Starter fits one person at a small company monitoring a brand, one of its competitors and a product name. Three topics & 30,000 mentions sound generous next to Brand24's 2,000, but the single seat means a second marketer forces the jump to Pro. Boolean search comes with Starter, per the plan list on the pricing page, so precise queries don't cost an upgrade.
Pro: $89 a month
Pro multiplies the mention quota by ten, the topic count by five and the seat count by ten. With all ten seats filled that's $8.90 per seat a month, or $5.93 per topic. Awario's own Awario vs Brand24 comparison page names Pro as the plan where data export starts.
For a marketing team running competitor research, Pro is where the quota math lands. Fifteen topics let a company monitor its brand, five competitors and a handful of campaign hashtags to track progress, with slots to spare. Pro users split one account across up to ten seats.
Enterprise: $249 a month
Enterprise lifts the ceiling to 100 topics and 1,000,000 mentions with unlimited team members. Per topic it's the cheapest plan Awario sells, at $2.49 a month, which suits a company with dozens of product lines or an agency's client roster. The same comparison page reserves white-label reports and an account manager for Enterprise.

Email a briefWhere Awario’s own pages contradict each other
Awario publishes its rate card, and five of its other pages disagree with it or with each other. The about page, the pricing page and its FAQ, the plans and quotas article, the January 2026 blog roundup, the Facebook monitoring page and the Facebook and Instagram limits article give two answers to five questions a buyer asks before paying.
| Question | One Awario page says | Another Awario page says | What it means for a buyer |
|---|---|---|---|
| How much history does a plan keep? | About page: “unlimited historical data” on every plan. Brand24 comparison page: “Unlimited for all plans” | Plans and quotas: 5,000, 15,000 or 50,000 mentions per alert; at the cap Awario “stops collecting mentions for 24 hours”, then “older mentions will be replaced with new ones” | Starter keeps at most 15,000 mentions across 3 alerts, half of one month’s 30,000 quota |
| How many mentions are stored per alert? | Pricing plan cards and help table: 5,000 / 15,000 / 50,000 | Pricing FAQ: “from 3,000 to 50,000 mentions for each of your alerts” | Starter’s floor is 3,000 or 5,000, depending on the paragraph |
| What does annual billing save? | Pricing page: “Save up to 40%” | Plans and quotas: an annual plan “will save you 2 months”; the blog: “annual plans save you 2 months” | On Starter, 40.8% or $240 a year on the rate card, against 16.7% or $98 by the two-month rule |
| What does the top plan cost? | Pricing page: Enterprise $249 a month billed yearly, $399 monthly | Blog, 25 January 2026: “$29-299/mo”. G2 listing, prices provided by Awario: $39, $119, $399 | $299, $39 and $119 appear on no current Awario plan |
| Does Facebook monitoring find every mention? | Facebook page: “Know every time someone mentions your brand on Facebook” | Limits article: “Content from any pages that aren’t connected to Awario is not available for monitoring”, and Facebook Groups are excluded | A mention on someone else’s page never reaches the feed unless it tags your connected page |

The Awario vs Brand24 page contradicts itself twice. Its feature table lists historical data as “Unlimited for all plans”, and its own test a few paragraphs on reports that an alert “reached the mentions per alert limit” at 150,000 and kept “replacing the old ones”. That limit is three times the 50,000 cap on today’s largest plan. The same page credits Awario with 1,932 mentions per $1 against Brand24’s 649 and calls the gap “2 times more”; the ratio is 2.98.
One question gets the same answer everywhere. The pricing cards strike through data export and PDF reports on Starter, and white-label reports, API and the account manager on Starter and Pro; the FAQ, the help table and the Brand24 comparison page draw the same lines. For a budget, plan on the smallest storage figure and the rate-card prices, and get anything else in writing before paying for a year that Awario won’t refund.
What each Awario plan gates: export, Boolean search and sentiment analysis
The plan cards on the pricing page show six features on every tier and strike through the ones a plan lacks. Starter keeps Boolean search only. Pro adds data export and PDF reports. Enterprise adds white-label reports, API access and an account manager. The help center’s plan table matches that split and adds report sharing at Pro.
A buyer who plans to pull CSV files into a reporting dashboard or a BI tool needs Pro at $89 a month, since Starter has no export on any Awario page.
The analytics stay the same across tiers, per the Awario features page. Sentiment analysis sorts mentions into positive, negative and neutral; reach-based sorting pushes the posts with the biggest audience to the top; topic clouds and alert comparison sit alongside a top influencers list split by network.
Negative keywords strip out posts containing chosen terms, and email alerts arrive daily or weekly. Every tier lets users analyze sentiment per topic and compare metrics like mention growth and total reach, so Starter users get the same analytics and insights as Enterprise, on a smaller pool of data.
Languages and locations carry no surcharge. The features page promises social media monitoring in any language and any location, so a company that works across five languages pays the same rate as one that works in English. Teams that analyze competitors abroad split topics by market, which keeps the metrics and insights for each one separate.
Leads, Awario's social selling module, runs a real-time feed of relevant posts asking for product recommendations and posts complaining about competitors. That lets one plan kill two birds with one stone: brand monitoring and a way to discover prospects from the same topics. The feature menu also lists a Slack integration and a social listening API, and the pricing page attaches no separate fee to either integration.
The storage cap behind Awario's brand mentions quota
Mentions collected and mentions kept are two separate numbers on Awario. The plan table stores 5,000 mentions per topic on Starter, 15,000 on Pro and 50,000 on Enterprise, and once a topic hits its ceiling the oldest mentions are replaced by new ones, according to the pricing FAQ.
Run the Starter math. Three topics times 5,000 stored mentions is 15,000, against 30,000 collected a month. Social media monitoring at volume fills that cap fast: a spike in social media posts, blogs and news coverage around one launch can do it in days. A brand that fills its quota keeps about two weeks of history at most, so a year-over-year analysis or a post-mortem on old crises falls off the back of the feed.
That's a red flag for anyone buying Awario as a research archive. Pro holds 225,000 stored mentions against 300,000 collected, and Enterprise stores up to 5,000,000 across 100 topics, five times its monthly quota.
The help center adds the mechanics: at the cap Awario stops collecting for 24 hours, then overwrites the oldest mentions. That contradicts the about page’s unlimited history and the pricing FAQ’s 3,000 floor, both laid out in the contradictions table above. Read between the lines and the safe planning figure is the smallest one.
Keyword choice drains the quota faster than most buyers expect. A Swedish reviewer on Trustpilot described broad terms eating a monthly allowance on an older Pro plan:
"the seemingly generous quota of 150 k mentions gets gobbled up by related keywords."
Emil Forsén, Trustpilot, 12 May 2020 (one star)
The quota in that review predates the current Pro plan, which collects 300,000. Boolean search and negative keywords are the fix for keeping a feed relevant: finding the posts that matter among loose search results is a needle in a haystack until the query excludes the noise.
Annual against monthly billing
Annual billing saves "up to 40%," per the pricing page. Worked out plan by plan, the discount is 40.8% on Starter, 40.3% on Pro and 37.6% on Enterprise.
Awario’s prices aren’t set in stone across its own domain. The help center and the blog both say annual billing saves two months, a 16.7% discount that would put annual Starter at $40.83 a month. The rate card charges $29. The blog also lists the tool at “$29-299/mo”, a top tier $50 above today’s $249, and G2 still shows Awario-supplied prices of $39, $119 and $399. This report budgets from the pricing page.
Payment runs through cards, PayPal, local bank transfer, wire, WebMoney, Alipay and phone payment, according to the FAQ, plus real-time bank transfer for US accounts. Plans are sold as subscriptions on either cycle.
Free trial, cancellation and refunds
The trial grants free Starter access to the company's monitoring tools with three alerts and 30,000 mentions, and the Awario signup page promises "no credit card required." Awario's blog sets the trial at 7 days. Teams discover in the trial how many social media and web mentions their keywords pull, which is the number that picks the tier. When it expires unpaid, the account stops without a charge and the data is kept for 14 days before deletion.
Awario has no free plan. The Awario Education Program is the one route to free access: educators teaching a course with a social data angle get Starter for themselves and their students "for the duration of the course," with an unstated discount once it ends.
Cancelling means contacting support, with no minimum term. Refunds are off the table: the FAQ says Awario doesn't issue them for partial use or for unused time left on a subscription. Four of the five one-star reviews on Trustpilot mention refunds. A UK reviewer wrote in March 2025:
"This company took £348 charge for subscription without giving advance notice and refused to refund when contacted."
Tom Pannett, Trustpilot, 27 March 2025 (one star)
He later edited the review to say the company had repaid the money. Awario's reply said checkout marks subscriptions as recurring and the payment processor sends a renewal email in advance.
A reviewer in Nigeria described a bigger charge on a card a colleague's account had kept on file, after paying for five months on that colleague's behalf:
"i got a shocking email today that my card had been charged $1345 on Awario"
Tobi, Trustpilot, 20 June 2021 (one star)
The company answered that its policy defines the terms and the reviewer could have cancelled at any time. Auto-renewal is par for the course in SaaS billing, but the no-refund clause turns a forgotten renewal into a full year's charge. Set a reminder a month before the renewal date and cancel through support in writing.
What buyers say about Awario's social listening price
Trustpilot shows a TrustScore of 4.2 from 18 reviews, split between 13 five-star and 5 one-star ratings with nothing in between. Nine of the 13 five-star reviews are dated December 2025, and Trustpilot notes the company hasn't recently invited customers to review. G2 rates Awario 3.9 from 48 reviews.

Source: Trustpilote.g. review scores for the five tools in your category
Source: linked, checked, datedThe praise centres on price. A Spanish customer, Manuel Echanove, wrote on Trustpilot in December 2025 that "it is a very affordable social listening platform compared to many other tools on the market," and a German reviewer in August 2025 called it "A great and affordable tool for brandmonitoring." A French customer singled out the sales feature:
"The leads module is my favorite (especially after getting help from the awesome support team with the setup)"
Mia Karen, Trustpilot, 3 December 2025 (five stars)
The complaints aim at coverage. A UK reviewer, Laura, wrote in December 2020 that "This listening tool isn't able to monitor mentions on Facebook or Instagram." The company's reply said Facebook's review limits collection to whitelisted business pages, and the help centre carries an article on Facebook and Instagram monitoring limitations.
Even a five-star customer of three years, Benoît E., flagged the same gap:
"The only downside is that not all social media platforms are supported yet, but I hope the team expands coverage soon."
Benoît E., Trustpilot, 4 December 2025 (five stars)
Support opinions split down the middle. A Polish reviewer, Valeriia, wrote in December 2025: "Haven’t faced ruder support yet." Several December five-star customers name the customer service team as the reason they stayed.
Awario against Brand24, Mention, Brandwatch and Meltwater
Awario competes at the bottom of the social listening market on price for social media monitoring, and the gap to other tools is wide. The table prices each company's listening tools against the cheapest published plan, or against Vendr's procurement median where no rate card exists. The subject here is price per mention; feature details are presented in the Awario review.
| Tool | Cheapest published plan | Mentions included | Cost per 1,000 mentions | Annual spend |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Awario | $29/mo, annual | 30,000 a month | $0.97 | $348 to $2,988 list |
| Brand24 | $199/mo, annual | 2,000 a month | $99.50 | $2,388 to $7,188 list, Enterprise from $1,499 a month |
| Brandwatch | Quote only | Quoted | Quoted | $50,000 median*, 40 purchases, $19,542 to $81,200 |
| Meltwater | Quote only | Quoted | Quoted | $25,800 median*, 126 purchases, $5,375 to $56,993 |
Awario and Brand24 figures are vendor list prices from their pricing pages, checked 17 October 2026. Prices marked * are Vendr median annual contract values from anonymized buyer data.
Brand24's prices page starts at $199 a month for three keywords, 2,000 mentions and one user, with updates every 12 hours; real-time collection begins on the $399 Pro plan. Brand24 does offer what Awario won't, a 30-day money-back guarantee outside custom plans, and a mobile app, which Awario's comparison page lists as missing from its own product. The Brand24 pricing report and Brand24 review cover the rest.
The company's comparison page averages 1,932 mentions per $1 for Awario and 649 for Brand24 across plans. On the October 2026 rate cards, Awario Starter buys 1,034 mentions per dollar and Brand24 Individual buys 10; at the top self-serve tiers it's 4,016 for Awario Enterprise and 167 for Brand24 Business.
Mention's pricing page sells one Company plan and charges for historical data & API access as paid add-ons; annual billing saves $360. Awario includes stored history and API access in the plan, inside the caps above.
Brandwatch and Meltwater cost an arm and a leg next to all three. Vendr tracks a $50,000 median Brandwatch contract, with a range of $19,542 to $81,200, and a $25,800 median Meltwater contract; Awario Enterprise at $2,988 a year is a drop in the bucket by comparison. The Brandwatch pricing report, Meltwater pricing report and Brandwatch review break those contracts down, and the social listening pricing report covers the wider market.
Who Awario is priced for: social media monitoring, social selling and influencer marketing
The rate card targets solo marketers, small teams and agencies that need social media monitoring without an enterprise contract. One person tracking a brand can run on $348 a year; a team of up to ten shares $1,068. An agency splitting Enterprise's 100 topics five per client covers 20 clients for $12.45 each a month, with white-label reporting for clients on the same plan. A UK agency reviewer explained why that matters for client work in several languages:
"Awario is perfect for this - it offers multilingual support for both monitoring and reporting."
Harry Anderson, Trustpilot, 12 December 2025 (five stars)
Influencer marketing and social selling sit inside every plan. The top influencers list ranks influencers by reach per network, which helps a company pick influencers who already reach its target audience, and Leads surfaces potential customers across the internet asking for recommendations in the niche a team tracks. A small team can join the conversation and engage with buyers from the same analytics dashboard it uses to keep an eye on competitors.
Three kinds of buyer should look past the price. Teams whose audience lives on Facebook or Instagram social media accounts hit the limitations Awario's help centre documents. Researchers who need an extensive archive for market research, or a startup tracking reaction to a product in development over several years, hit the per-topic storage cap. Agencies doing client reporting from a phone get no mobile app.
Our Awario review tests the product side on social media data, and the social listening tools ranking lists the alternatives.
How to lower an Awario bill
Bill annually once the trial has proven the fit; it saves $240 on Starter, $720 on Pro and $1,800 on Enterprise each year. Before that, use the trial to measure real mention volume on your own keywords, since Starter's 30,000 quota and Pro's 300,000 sit a long way apart.
Analyze the trial feed for noise, then tighten every alert with Boolean search and negative keywords, the two search tools on every plan, so related terms don't burn the quota. On Pro, export mentions on a schedule to keep the history the 15,000-per-topic cap would otherwise overwrite. Teams above Enterprise's limits should ask for a custom plan, and educators should apply to the education program for free Starter access.
What to budget for Awario
Budget $348 a year for one person on one brand, $1,068 for a company team of up to ten, and $2,988 for an agency or a business that tracks competitors across dozens of topics. Add $49 if you'd prefer one paid month on Starter after the trial before you bite the bullet on a year.
Keep the budget line for tools separate from the time cost a company pays in staff hours. Sentiment analysis and reporting need checking by hand on any listening product, and every exported file adds a step to the reporting process. Teams that want alerts inside Slack can use the Slack integration listed in the feature menu. The sentiment analysis pricing report and media monitoring pricing report show what dedicated tools in those categories charge.

Frequently asked questions
What is Awario?
Awario is a social media monitoring and social listening tool that tracks brand mentions across social media platforms, news sites, blogs, forums and the wider web and internet. It sorts them by sentiment and reach, builds topic clouds and influencer lists from them, and its plans run from $29 to $399 a month.
Does Awario have a free plan?
No. Awario offers a 7-day trial of Starter with no credit card, and free Starter access for courses accepted into its education program.
Which social media mentions does Awario track?
Awario's feature menu names monitoring pages for Reddit, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and news. Facebook and Instagram collection is limited, per the company's help centre, and every mention the tool collects gets the same sentiment analysis and reach sorting.
Is Awario cheaper than Brand24?
Yes, at every tier. Awario Starter costs $29 a month on annual billing for 30,000 mentions; Brand24's cheapest plan costs $199 for 2,000.
Does Awario keep unlimited historical data?
No. The plans and quotas article caps storage at 5,000, 15,000 or 50,000 mentions per alert and replaces the oldest ones once an alert is full; the about page’s “unlimited historical data” line contradicts that.
Can I get a refund from Awario?
No. Awario's FAQ rules out refunds for partial use or unused subscription time; cancellation through support stops the next charge.
Bottom line
Awario pricing is the cheapest published rate card among the social listening tools on this site: $29, $89 or $249 a month on annual billing, with mention quotas Brand24 can't match at any tier. For a founder or a small company that wants brand monitoring, a way to monitor competitors and a leads feed for under $1,100 a year, the numbers work, and influencer marketing research comes in the same plan.
The costs sit in the terms. Starter stores half of what it collects, Awario’s own pages disagree on how much history any plan keeps and what annual billing saves, Facebook and Instagram coverage is limited, and a missed renewal date costs a full year with no refund. Test on the trial, confirm export in writing, and set the renewal reminder on day one.
