Feedly pricing in 2026: from a free RSS reader to $28,800 a year
Feedly pricing runs on two separate rate cards. The reader plans cost $0, $83.88 or $146.76 a year per person, and the Market Intelligence product costs $19,200 or $28,800 a year per team. Threat Intelligence sits behind a sales call on both of its plans.
This report takes every published Feedly price, checked against Feedly's own pages on 6 October 2026, and adds what those pages leave out: the year-two jump on Pro+, the 5-day refund window, what an export leaves behind, and how far the Pro plan has climbed since 2013. It's written for two readers: the individual weighing a paid RSS reader, and the strategy or security team at businesses pricing Feedly against dedicated monitoring tools.
The gap between the two cards is why these figures matter. A 10-person team buying Pro+ seats one by one pays $1,467.60 a year, and the cheapest team plan with a published price costs 13 times that, so picking the wrong card costs a team either $17,732.40 or its shared feeds.
The numbers Feedly reader and team pricing, checked 6 October 2026
At full occupancy, Market Intelligence Advanced costs $1,152 a seat against Standard's $1,920.
The key Pro+ figure is the list rate, because the $107.16 first-year price rises 37% at renewal.
Feedly's free tier stops at 100 feeds, too few for an analyst tracking competitors across a whole industry.
Self-service refunds close 5 days after a charge, so check a renewal the week it lands.
How much Feedly costs
Feedly sells three products under one brand: a consumer RSS reader, a Market Intelligence product for strategy teams watching competitors, and a Threat Intelligence product for security analysts. The reader pricing page lists Pro at US$6.99 a month and Pro+ at US$12.23 a month, both billed annually, with Pro+ discounted to US$8.93 for the first year. The Threat Intelligence page shows two plans with "Request pricing" on each.
Feedly syncs one account across the web app and the iPhone and Android apps. Billing is where they split. Apple's App Store listing sells Feedly Pro Monthly at $7.99 and Feedly Pro+ Monthly at $15.99, the only monthly prices Feedly publishes for either plan.
Feedly plan tiers for individual readers
Each tier raises the feed cap and unlocks a different layer of features. The table lists what Feedly's own page puts in each box.
| Plan | Annual price | Feed cap | What the tier adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 100 | Web and mobile apps, 3 folders, sponsored ads in the feed |
| Pro | $83.88 | 1,000 | Search, notes and highlights, Evernote and OneNote, Zapier and IFTTT, ads hidden |
| Pro+ | $146.76 ($107.16 year one) | 2,500 | Mute filters, topics, deduplication, newsletters, Google News feeds, RSS Builder |
| Enterprise | Sales quote | 7,500 | Team feeds and boards, Slack and Microsoft Teams, API, SSO/SAML |
Prices are Feedly's US-dollar list rates from its reader pricing page, billed annually and checked 6 October 2026. Enterprise is quoted by sales.
Free
The free plan suits casual readers: it follows up to 100 feeds from blogs, websites and news sources in 3 folders, in the web app and on mobile. Feedly's pricing page pitches it to anyone who wants "a free plain reader", and it comes with no strings attached beyond the ads. Free-plan readers see sponsored ads mixed into the article list, and the Google Play listing carries the "Contains ads" label across 5M+ downloads.
Cancelling a paid plan drops an account back to the free limits. Feedly's cancellation article puts those at 100 sources, 3 feeds and 3 boards, and tells users to trim anything above that first.
Pro
Pro costs $6.99 a month on annual billing, or $83.88 a year. It lifts the cap to 1,000 feeds and adds search, notes and highlights, saving to Evernote and OneNote, and sharing to LinkedIn, Buffer, IFTTT and Zapier. Feedly says Pro pulls new articles "up to 10x faster", hides the sponsored ads and comes with premium support.
That's many features for a price that won't cost an arm and a leg. What Pro leaves out is every AI feature. Readers who follow competitors' blogs and want keyword rules to cut the noise get search & sharing at this tier, and the filtering sits one rung up.
Pro+
Pro+ is where Feedly AI starts, sold on the page as "Mute the noise with Feedly AI". It raises the cap to 2,500 feeds and adds AI Feeds, newsletters, Google News feeds built from keywords, and the RSS Builder, which turns pages from publishers and websites without a feed into one. Feedly's mute filter article confirms the filters hide articles containing keywords typed into a keyword box, on Pro+ and the team tier.
The price carries a catch. The page shows US$8.93 a month struck against US$12.23, with the line "You're saving US$40 on your first year". Year one costs $107.16 and year two costs $146.76. That $39.60 difference is par for the course for an introductory rate, and the list price is the figure to budget.
Enterprise
Enterprise is the collaborative tier, built for teams, and it has no listed price. Feedly's page says "To get a price estimate please contact our sales team" and lists 7,500 feeds, team feeds and boards, newsletter creation for an internal audience, Slack and Microsoft Teams, API access, SSO/SAML and AI skills for market, threat, biopharma and competitive intelligence.
Feedly's discount article limits academic and non-profit pricing to this tier, and other businesses pay the quoted rate.
Feedly Market Intelligence and Threat Intelligence pricing
The intelligence platform carries the prices businesses pay as teams, and only one of its two products shows a number. Market Intelligence, built to watch competitors and markets, lists two plans billed annually, and Standard comes with a free trial. Threat Intelligence lists the same two plan names with "Request pricing" on both.
| Plan | Price | Seats | AI Feeds | Newsletter templates | Integrations and API |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Market Intelligence Standard | $1,600/mo, billed annually ($19,200) | Up to 10 | 100 | 5 | No API on this plan |
| Market Intelligence Advanced | $2,400/mo, billed annually ($28,800) | Up to 25 | 200 | 20 | API, Single Sign-On |
| Threat Intelligence Standard | Request pricing | Whole team | 50 | 5 | Ask AI and Report Builder |
| Threat Intelligence Advanced | Request pricing | Whole team | 100 | 10 | STIX API, MCP server, OpenCTI, XSOAR, MISP, Slack, Microsoft Teams |
Market Intelligence prices are Feedly's published annual list rates, and both Threat Intelligence plans go to a sales quote. Both pages were checked 6 October 2026.
What a Market Intelligence quote is built on
Compute sets the price of Feedly's AI technology. The FAQ on the Market Intelligence page says pricing is set by "the computation power needed to run the AI Models and AI Feeds included in each plan". Seat counts are a ceiling, and a team can't buy its way down by dropping users.
That makes the per-seat math lopsided. Standard at 10 seats costs $1,920 per seat a year; Advanced at 25 seats costs $1,152. Extra AI Feeds, newsletter designs and seats are sold as add-ons on Advanced, and Feedly says features can't be bought a la carte. Newsletter recipients need no seat, so the audience for a briefing sits outside the seat cap.
Feedly pitches the product to "Monitor competitors and tech innovation". Standard includes Company and Trend Insights Cards, and Advanced adds Ask AI, Emerging Trends Dashboards, a Startup Innovation Radar for technology scouting, multilingual AI and large company lists for teams tracking long rosters of companies. The pricing page quotes an innovation manager claiming it "saves 25 hours per week across the team", a vendor-published testimonial with no method attached.
What Threat Intelligence includes
Threat Intelligence targets security teams at companies tracking CVEs, threat actors and malware through insights cards. Standard ships "1000+ Threat Intelligence AI Models" and a dedicated advisor. Advanced adds vulnerability, TTP and cyberattack agents, a Threat Graph STIX API, a Threat Graph MCP server and no-code connectors to OpenCTI, XSOAR and MISP, so analysts wire it into a SOAR stack without coding. Dark Web Agents and Commercial Access are separate add-ons.
Feedly provides a 30-day free trial on its Threat Intelligence platform. The trial page promises "30 days, full platform access" with intel agents set up on the buyer's requirements, so a team can hit the ground running. For what rival feeds charge, our cyber threat intelligence tools ranking compares the main vendors.
What Feedly charges outside the rate card
The devil's in the details on a reader this cheap. Five charges or limits sit outside the headline price:
- Pro+ renews at $146.76 after a $107.16 first year, a 37% jump.
- Monthly billing runs through Apple's App Store, at $7.99 for Pro and $15.99 for Pro+.
- Self-service refunds cover charges "in the past 5 days", per the help center.
- Pro+ buyers report AI topics gated to the intelligence products; Trustpilot reviewers flagged it in September 2024 and February 2026.
- Business annual plans run as an account credit, and adding users burns it faster than 12 months, per Feedly's annual subscription article.
That fourth item is a red flag for anyone buying Pro+ for one specific topic. The 5-day refund window is the only chance to cut your losses once the charge lands.
Feedly's lifetime licence won't come back, and it acted as early funding. Feedly's lifetime FAQ says the deal ran for "the first 2 days of Feedly Pro to help fund the initial infrastructure", and points buyers to the yearly plan's 30% saving over monthly.
How Feedly prices have moved since 2013
Google's March 2013 announcement that Reader would close sent demand for RSS technology Feedly's way: Wikipedia's Feedly entry records 500,000 new users in 48 hours, and cites Wired for a 2018 total of 14 million registered users. The paid tier launched that August at $5 a month or $45 a year, per Computerworld, and a $99.99 lifetime offer for the first 5,000 buyers sold out within 8 hours and raised nearly $500,000.
By September 2014, Computerworld reported 35,000 Pro members and $1.35 million in yearly revenue.
In April 2017, TechCrunch listed Pro at $5 a month and a Teams plan at $18 per user per month. Feedly has since adapted its team pricing into the quote-only Enterprise tier and the compute-priced intelligence products.
In December 2019 Feedly launched Pro+ at $144 a year with the Leo AI assistant, and Liliputing put Pro at $8 a month or $72 a year. The 2026 pricing page sells the skills Leo launched with (topics, deduplication, mute filters) under the Feedly AI name. Against a $19,200 team plan, Pro's $11.88 rise since 2019 is a drop in the bucket.
Feedly's pricing page now claims "100,000+ happy premium users", up from 35,000 in 2014. The App Store listing holds a 4.6 rating across 26K ratings, and Feedly's Android app shows 4.5 stars across 317K reviews.
What buyers say about paying for Feedly
Feedly's Trustpilot profile scores 1.7 from 36 reviews, and most of the 1-star posts are about money. The recurring complaint is that Pro+ promises AI features the buyer then finds behind a second paywall. A reviewer in Great Britain wrote on 28 February 2026:
"Signed up for Pro+ to get access to AI search, but was unusable because almost all AI search terms are paywalled for Enterprise customers only, so got no value out of the Pro+ subscription. Avoid unless you go for enterprise - Pro+ is a sham."
Reviewer in Great Britain, Trustpilot, 28 February 2026
A reviewer in Spain described the same wall on 6 September 2024, after signing up for the AI capabilities:
"However we quickly realize that most "topics" were paywalled behind the market/threat plans, it is also not clear from the AI search which one is which until you face the paywall."
Reviewer in Spain, Trustpilot, 6 September 2024
Annual-only billing on the web is the second theme. A British reviewer on 31 October 2025 wrote that "All the good AI features are locked behind the pro + subscription which only offers annual billing." Another, on 7 November 2024:
"Very pushy for more money - felt like I was constantly being taken to the page asking me to pay even more for a Pro+ subscription. Which is only available to pay in a large sum annually."
Reviewer in Great Britain, Trustpilot, 7 November 2024
A reviewer in Israel put the tier gap in dollars on 5 January 2025:
"Terrible tool, all features are behind the 2nd plan, which costs $150/y. The first plan costs $9 and basically gives you nothing, all the features you would expect to get are AGAIN behind a paywall."
Reviewer in Israel, Trustpilot, 5 January 2025
The ads push some people off Feedly altogether. A 2020 Trustpilot reviewer objected to "ads in the feed disguised as normal posts", and a Hacker News commenter, jkmcf, on 10 October 2025:
"I've switched to using Feedbin. I don't mind paying for it even though I could keep using Feedly for free, but the web UI ads annoyed me enough to look elsewhere."
jkmcf, Hacker News, 10 October 2025
The fair counterpoint comes from the same Trustpilot page. A US reviewer on 8 September 2025 called Feedly "by far the best RSS manager and search helper with RSS feeds" and added that "feedly is still the best at finding RSS feeds with their search engine." A 2021 reviewer in Spain wrote that "If you invest a little time in setting it up and training Leo, you can vastly reduce the amount of time you spend checking sites for news."
Read between the lines and the advice is consistent. Test the exact AI topics you need during a trial before paying for Pro+, and ask sales which topics sit in Market or Threat Intelligence.
Feedly against its competitors among paid RSS readers
Among the major readers and Feedly's direct competitors, Feedly Pro sits mid-pack on price, and Pro+ costs more than every rival plan in the table except NewsBlur's $29-a-month Premium Pro. Each figure comes from the vendor's own pricing page, checked 6 October 2026.
| Reader | Annual price | Monthly billing | Free tier | What the paid tier adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Feedly Pro | $83.88 | $7.99 (App Store) | 100 feeds | 1,000 feeds, ads hidden |
| Feedly Pro+ | $146.76 ($107.16 year one) | $15.99 (App Store) | 100 feeds | 2,500 feeds, mute filters, AI topics |
| Inoreader Pro | $90 | $9.99 | 150 RSS subscriptions, AI summaries | 2,500 subscriptions, 30 rules, push notifications |
| Feedbin | $70 | $7 | 30-day trial | Full-text extraction, newsletters, YouTube channels |
| NewsBlur Premium | $36 | $29 for Premium Pro | 64 sites | 1,024 sites |
Every price is the vendor's own list rate in US dollars, read off its pricing page on 6 October 2026. Feedly's monthly figures are App Store prices.
Inoreader's free tier beats Feedly's on volume, at 150 subscriptions against 100, and already includes full-text extraction and article summaries. Its $7.50-a-month Pro plan matches Pro+ on the 2,500 cap for $56.76 less than Pro+ list. Inoreader's rules address the filtering need too, sending push notifications when articles match keywords or other properties.
A Feedbin account costs $7 a month or $70 a year after a 30-day trial. Each paid account gets an email address to subscribe to newsletters, follows YouTube channels and playlists, and runs full text extraction on partial feeds. Feedbin syncs with iOS, Mac & Android apps such as Reeder and NetNewsWire.
For businesses buying for a team, the comparison set changes. A $19,200 Market Intelligence contract competes with media monitoring services and competitive intelligence tools, covered in our market intelligence platform pricing report and the competitive intelligence pricing breakdown. Battlecard vendors are in the Crayon pricing report, and press coverage buyers should read the Meltwater pricing teardown.
Feedly reads blog posts, articles and feeds from publishers, plus Reddit feeds. Brand mentions across Twitter and the wider social web are the job of social listening tools, priced in our social listening pricing report and the Brand24 pricing breakdown.
Traffic estimates for competitors' sites come from a third tool class, and the Similarweb pricing report covers what traffic data costs. Feedly's AI Feeds track published articles, so site traffic needs that second tool.
Switching costs and what an export leaves behind
An OPML export moves the public feeds out of Feedly and leaves the saved research behind. The OPML file at feedly.com/i/opml runs on the web app only, and Feedly's export article says it "will only export your public RSS feeds and will not export any Boards or Read Later articles". AI Feeds and Reddit feeds stay behind too.
On plans that include the API, pulling data out is capped at 100,000 requests a month per access token, per Feedly's developer docs.
Inoreader, Feedbin and NewsBlur all accept OPML imports, the same format Feedly's own import tool reads, per its OPML guide, so the feed list imports in minutes. Boards, notes, highlights and saved posts need a separate route through Dropbox, IFTTT or Zapier, which Feedly suggests for backups. Skip that step and years of saved research go back to square one.
The 2023 protest-tracking controversy
The Feedly controversy that still shows up in searches dates to late March 2023. A Feedly blog post pitched an AI model to companies that wanted to "track the protests posing a risk to your company's assets", according to Molly White's Citation Needed, published 3 April 2023. Feedly deleted the post after the backlash on Twitter.
Jeff Perry's 30 March 2023 write-up records Feedly's auto-reply: "The blog post should have been clearer. This is used to notify employees of a potential security risk if they travel or work at locations where violence emerges." Perry reported users cancelling subscriptions over it.
What to budget for Feedly
- Readers following under 100 blogs and feeds who can live with ads: $0.
- Readers with up to 1,000 feeds: $83.88 a year.
- Analyst who needs mute filters on keywords and AI topics: $107.16 in year one, $146.76 a year after, $253.92 over two years.
- Team of 10 with shared feeds and newsletters: $19,200 a year on the Market Intelligence platform's Standard plan.
- Team of up to 25 that needs the API or SSO: $28,800 a year on Advanced.
- Security team: a sales quote, after a 30-day trial.
The price difference between Pro and Pro+ is $62.88 a year. The jump from $146.76 to $19,200 is the bitter pill to swallow. Ten Pro+ seats bought one by one cost $1,467.60, and each seat stays a private account with no shared feeds or team boards.
Small businesses with 2 or 3 analysts who can't afford $19,200 can link individual Pro+ accounts through Zapier, which every paid tier includes. An analyst who wants less time lost to information overload, regulatory changes and the moves of competitors gets mute filters on Pro+; a team that wants the same view on a shared screen pays the team price.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket on renewal. Annual billing locks in 12 months, and Feedly's team billing sends a reminder once the credit falls below 2 months. Keep an eye on that date from the day the contract is signed.
Teams sizing up competitors to Feedly can start with our media monitoring tools ranking, the competitive intelligence tools ranking, the content intelligence tools ranking and the open-source intelligence tools ranking.
Frequently asked questions
Is Feedly free to use?
Yes. The free plan follows up to 100 feeds in 3 folders on the web and on mobile, with sponsored ads in the feed. Paid plans start at $83.88 a year.
How much does Feedly cost per month?
Pro costs $6.99 a month and Pro+ costs $12.23 a month on annual billing, with Pro+ at $8.93 in the first year. Monthly billing through the App Store costs $7.99 for Pro and $15.99 for Pro+.
Does Feedly have a desktop app?
On a desktop, Feedly runs as a web app at feedly.com. The App Store listing covers the iPhone app, iPad and Apple Vision, and the Android app ships through Google Play.
Does Feedly still work?
Yes. Feedly's pricing pages were live on 6 October 2026, its help center articles were updated as recently as July 2025, and Market Intelligence is sold at published rates.
Which is better, Feedly or Inoreader?
Inoreader gives more for less at both ends: 150 free subscriptions against 100, and a 2,500-subscription Pro plan at $90 a year against $146.76 for Pro+, with rules, push notifications and AI summaries included. Feedly's advantage is its team intelligence products with their insights cards and, per Trustpilot reviewers, its feed search.
Is there anything better than Feedly?
For readers on a budget, NewsBlur Premium at $36 a year and Feedbin at $70 a year both cost less than Feedly Pro+. For businesses, the answer depends on the data: press coverage, social mentions and threat feeds each have specialist tools among Feedly's competitors.
Bottom line
Feedly is two businesses with two price lists. For individual readers, the app costs between $0 and $146.76 a year, and its Pro+ tier carries a first-year discount that falls away at renewal plus AI topics that are partly gated to the intelligence products. Test those topics in a trial before paying.
Market Intelligence publishes its rates at $19,200 and $28,800 a year, priced on compute, and Threat Intelligence needs a sales call. A team weighing either against competitors should price the specialist tools and monitoring services next to it before signing an annual contract.
