Since June 2026, a rep can ask Claude which companies are on the website today and get Leadfeeder's answer in the chat. The Leadfeeder MCP server is the hosted connector behind that, letting AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT read your Leadfeeder account in plain language. It runs on the Model Context Protocol, the open standard AI agents use to call outside software.
The assistant calls Leadfeeder's tools and tracks lead activity through natural language queries, so nobody opens a dashboard. Leadfeeder shipped it on 25 June 2026 with "around 40 actions" for accounts with API access.
The launch came three months after the brand changed back from Dealfront to Leadfeeder on 24 March 2026, so older guides still carry the Dealfront brand name.
This review covers what exists officially, what the community built around it, setup, plan gating, credits, and what the connector carries over from the product underneath. I didn't connect a paid account for this review, so every behaviour below comes straight from the horse's mouth in Leadfeeder's documentation, or from named users, each linked.
It's written for revenue teams already on Leadfeeder who are weighing AI agents and AI tools against the platform's own feed, and for anyone comparing identification vendors on MCP support, for example against Snitcher or 6sense. The full Leadfeeder review covers pricing, accuracy and contract terms in depth, and this page stays on the connector.
The timing matters because three visitor-ID and intent vendors shipped a server within three months. Leadfeeder went live in June, 6sense in July and Snitcher in September 2026, and the MCP tools list on this site tracks 76 confirmed servers in total.
↑ FACT SHEETWhat exists: the Leadfeeder MCP server and three community routes for AI agents
There's one official server. Leadfeeder hosts it at mcp.leadfeeder.com/mcp, and its API documentation says it "sits on top of the same Leadfeeder API," exposing capabilities as AI-friendly tools grouped around tasks. The endpoint is public because the AI provider's cloud makes the call, so a private or VPN-only setup won't connect.
Three community routes also show up in search. Composio's Leadfeeder toolkit lists 6 tools (accounts, visits, custom feeds, an IP-to-company lookup and the tracking script) for developers building their own agents, and asks you to configure your own API key. Pipedream runs a Leadfeeder MCP page that loads its available actions only after you connect an account.
The third, MCPBundles, lists a Leadfeeder server and states it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Leadfeeder unless the page says so. Only the official server carries Leadfeeder's support and its OAuth sign-in, and it's the one every figure in this review describes.
Read between the lines of the labels and the status gets murky. The permissions and credits article opens with "The Leadfeeder MCP Server is in beta" and warns that setup steps and available tools may change. G2's product overview calls it beta too. The feature page shows no such label as of 15 October 2026.
↑ FACT SHEETHow to connect Leadfeeder to Claude, ChatGPT and five other AI tools
The connection guide documents seven AI tools as clients: Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Perplexity, Codex and Cursor. In Claude and ChatGPT the recommended path is the Leadfeeder plugin from each app's directory, which also adds the six skills. The other AI tools take the server URL as a custom connector, with OAuth and Streamable HTTP selected, and no technical setup beyond that.
The help centre steps to connect Leadfeeder run in this order:
- Open your AI tool's connector or plugin directory and search for Leadfeeder.
- Install the plugin, or paste https://mcp.leadfeeder.com/mcp as a custom connector.
- Sign in with your Leadfeeder account and approve access.
- Ask the assistant to list the Leadfeeder accounts you can access, which confirms the AI tools can reach your data.
Leadfeeder claims "Set up in 4 minutes" on its MCP site, and the steps above back that up for one user. Teams that connect Leadfeeder across a workspace take longer. On Claude Team and Enterprise an Owner adds the connector once under Organization settings, then each member connects, and nobody sees it until that happens.
The permission is the step most likely to stall a rollout. Your user needs "Manage API keys and use API" under Integrations, the same right that lets someone generate REST API keys. An admin who grants it for MCP also grants API key creation, and the docs name no narrower MCP-only role. If "Allow Once" appears on every call, the fix is a default permission in the AI tool's own connector settings.
↑ FACT SHEETThe Leadfeeder tools behind six skills: in-market companies, briefs and lists
The plugin wraps the Leadfeeder tools in six named skills, described by Leadfeeder as:
- Getting Started: set up your ICP and confirm the tracking script is live.
- Daily Visitor Brief: a ranked list of high-intent, ICP-fit companies visiting your website.
- Company Brief: a pre-call brief of firmographics, recent visits and intent signals for one account.
- Find My Buyer: the right contact at a target account, ranked by fit.
- Outreach Companion: talking points for a personalised opener, grounded in visit data.
- Add to Pipeline: tag a company or add it to a list from the chat.
The sample prompt on Leadfeeder's MCP site asks which good fit companies visited this week, and the docs add three more: find German companies that fit your ICP and add them to a list, enrich contacts and flag the ones worth follow-ups, and group this week's site traffic by industry.
Each prompt maps to a published API area, and the Web Visits endpoints fetch visits through filters or custom feeds, so the AI assistant answers questions from the same company information and company data the dashboard shows.
That covers the top of the funnel well. A rep can identify in-market companies visiting the site, pull a brief and act on the answer without leaving the chat, which is the vendor's whole pitch for turning a website and its custom feeds into a lead generation engine that hands sales qualified leads.
The help centre adds "pipeline research and follow-up planning" to the list of jobs, and Leadfeeder pitches the tool set as a way to build target segments from real-time website activity.
Write actions get a guardrail. The help centre says "Actions that change data ask you to confirm before they run," which covers lists, tags, custom fields and Add to Pipeline. Read-only calls can be set to auto-approve in the AI tool, and the devil's in the details, because an auto-approved read can still be a credit-consuming enrichment call.
The gap is documentation. Leadfeeder publishes the six skills and the API reference, with no list of the roughly 40 MCP tool names. Snitcher documents 35 tools, 18 read-only and 17 write, group by group. Nobody can audit which Leadfeeder tools exist before connecting, which matters for the admin approving the permission above.
↑ FACT SHEETWhich plans include the Leadfeeder MCP server, and what a month costs
The pricing page, headed "Plans for every stage of growth" and rendered on 15 October 2026, marks both "API access" and "MCP server access" as included on Discover, Activate and Scale, and excluded on Lite. The MCP FAQ says the server comes "with any paid Leadfeeder plan that has API access, no separate add-on or extra cost."
Entry prices, billed annually, are €79* for Discover, €369* for Activate and €599* for Scale, which bills annually only. Monthly billing runs about 30% higher, so Discover reads €113* at entry. The full price ladder runs to €2,089* at 10,000 identified companies a month, with repeat visits from one company counted once.
The cheapest working setup is Discover at the 50-company band, about $88 a month. That plan carries real-time account alerts, CRM push and 50 credits a month, enough for 250 email-only enrichments or 50 email-plus-phone ones. Verified emails, phones and job titles sit on Activate, where the platform can identify a named contact at each account, so a team that wants Find My Buyer's contacts with verified details starts at €369*.
The 14-day trial needs no card, and the help centre's API credits article says platform customers have "full access to the API as part of your existing subscription." For a business in Europe already paying in euros, the connector adds no line to the invoice before the purchase of extra credits.

↑ FACT SHEETCredits: the part of the bill AI agents can spend
The MCP server pays for Leadfeeder data out of one credit balance shared with the platform and the REST API. Simple reads cost nothing: listing accounts, checking the credit balance, searching and matching companies, searching contacts, and the calls that manage lists, tags and custom fields. Full company details, bulk enrichment, company financials, company signals and full contact details "may consume credits," per the permissions article.
The credit schedule puts email-only enrichment at 0.2 credits, email plus phone at 1, and an export or CRM sync at 1. A spent credit unlocks the record for 12 months across the account. Unused monthly credits don't roll over, and the article gives no rate for a company-details or financials call, so the bill for those calls stays unknown until it lands.
That's a red flag for teams that let AI agents run a Company Brief on every account in a list. The requirements say credit-consuming tools "should return metadata" showing credits used, a promise worded as a should. A Capterra reviewer in medical devices lost "700+" plan credits when her subscription ended, so the expiry rule bites with no agent in the loop at all.
The REST API sets a rate limit of 10 requests a second, a 15-request burst and 100,000 requests a month per API key. Leadfeeder's MCP pages don't say if MCP calls count toward that quota, and an agent working a long list makes several calls per answer.
↑ FACT SHEETWhat the connector inherits from Leadfeeder's website visitors data
The MCP server answers from the same feed, so its answers are only as good as the identification at the top of the funnel. Leadfeeder's homepage claims it can identify "up to 45%" of companies visiting your website, while its help centre declines to give any percentage. A CMO at an IT services firm, Jesper Q., wrote on Capterra in November 2021 that it tracks "just the company in 2% of the visitors."
A marketing specialist at a medical device company measured the anonymous traffic it did resolve:
"Their so-called IP recognition service misidentifies many companies as the carriers they use or whatever. As a medical device company, it's not a hard guess who will visit our website. Yet 70% of the traffic they identified comes from industries unrelated to us."
Sherry T., marketing specialist, medical devices, Capterra, 9 April 2024, one star.
An assistant summarising that feed ranks those companies with the same confidence as real prospects, because the MCP layer adds no identification of its own. The feed still earns its keep for many users. A senior account manager in business supplies put it on a daily checklist:
"As a sales executive there are certain things I check everyday. Prime amongst them is Dealfront. The ability to see who is on the website, what pages they've been looking at and their keyword searches helps me to do everything from understand intent leads better to helping to plan ABM campaigns based on behaviours."
Jamie G., senior account manager, business supplies, Capterra, 18 November 2023, five stars.
Moss J., a VP of Sales and Marketing at an IT services firm, said the visit data "has provided a meaningful number of warm leads for sales team" (Capterra, February 2023). Karen C., a senior manager in IT services, valued page-level detail: "Leadfeeder lets you see the specific pages that companies visited" (Capterra, September 2020).
The Daily Visitor Brief ranks that page data, plus Google Ads keywords and referral source from the web analytics side, into leads for the market you sell to.
Setup of the tracker underneath is fast. Dinakar S., a software founder, wrote: "It was just a few lines of code our developers had to add. We did it in less than 5 minutes" (Capterra, September 2021). The 60 million companies and 400 million contacts behind Find My Buyer are Leadfeeder's own sizing, quoted in its G2 product description, alongside newer features such as Workflows and ICP Insights.
Leadfeeder integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and Microsoft Dynamics, per its MCP overview, and G2's description adds Workflows, no-code automation that routes leads and updates the CRM. Those integrations carry the same caveats into AI workflows.
Svend, a Danish user on Trustpilot, reported in February 2023 that the Microsoft Dynamics sync "is assigning wrong person in the transfer," with two documented errors unsolved after a year. An agent that pushes inbound leads through Add to Pipeline inherits whatever the CRM connector does next, and ICP Insights and GA4 analytics only help if the CRM record lands on the right owner.
↑ FACT SHEETPrivacy, GDPR and the hop into an AI provider's cloud
Leadfeeder data stays in one place until you ask. The GDPR page says servers run on Amazon Web Services "specifically in Ireland," the legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, and a data processing agreement with Standard Contractual Clauses covers transfers to its US entity.
The MCP server adds a hop. The docs state that "the AI tool connects to Leadfeeder from the AI provider's cloud," so every piece of company information and every contact field the assistant fetches lands in a chat history held by Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft or Perplexity under their own terms. For anyone selling into Europe where the action on GDPR enforcement sits, that second hop is a question for counsel before switching the connector on for a whole sales team.
Approvals and disconnects stay under the admin's control, the AI can't act on a write without a click, and the docs sum that up as "You stay in control."
Consent on the website is set separately. The tracker sets cookies on every visit unless you turn on consent mode, and Leadfeeder's consent article says "if this mode is not enabled, the tracker will still always set cookies." Person-level identification is excluded by design, which keeps named individuals out of the visit feed.
↑ FACT SHEETContract terms and complaints that come with the account
The connector is free and the account behind it has terms that draw the harshest reviews. Annual plans must be cancelled 30 days before the renewal date or they renew for 12 months, and the contract page lets Leadfeeder raise the tier automatically when identified-company volume outgrows it.
"Their cancellation policy requires you cancel more than 30 days before renewal, but they never give you any notice about renewal (I paid yearly) -- so by the time I get charged, they say there's nothing they can do."
Verified reviewer, managing director, marketing and advertising, Capterra, 24 September 2026, one star.
Trustpilot shows the same pattern at a smaller scale, 1.9 across 14 reviews on 15 October 2026, with 65% of them one star. Mark Michael wrote on Trustpilot in July 2026: "You don't get any notifications. You don't get a heads up on renewals." Jamie Stenton wrote on Trustpilot the same month that Leadfeeder "Attempted to lock me into 12 months when I signed up for rolling monthly."
A demand generation manager described what happens after a missed date:
"Our CS person aggressively hounded users via email and Linkedin to get the invoice paid. When I asked what happens if someone doesn't pay an invoice after missing renewal date, she said it goes to the "next escalation point" which she admitted was collections."
Chris R., manager, demand generation, information technology and services, Capterra, 14 February 2022.
Renewal complaints are par for the course here. Even the testimonial wall on Leadfeeder's own MCP site carries a customer saying the renewal and cancellation process "had not been handled correctly" before a VP stepped in. On price the record is kinder. Robert E., an operations manager, wrote that "LeadFeeder came in at half the price and they do not charge for crm integrations the way Lead Forensics does" (Capterra, May 2021).
The ratings sit at 4.3 across 868 reviews on G2 and 4.2 across 136 on Capterra. This site's report on how far to trust Capterra and G2 scores covers how those two platforms collect reviews. Calendar the renewal 45 days out, and keep an eye on the tier.

↑ FACT SHEETLeadfeeder MCP against Snitcher, 6sense and Lusha MCP
Snitcher is the closest like-for-like. Its MCP server, announced 7 September 2026, documents 35 tools, 17 of them write actions, and quotes the credit cost before spending one. Snitcher prices from $49 a month at 0 to 50 identified companies up to $529 at 4,001 to 5,000, per the visitor intelligence software ranking, where it sits two places above Leadfeeder.
Leadfeeder brings AWS Ireland hosting with ISO 27001 and ISO 27701, and Snitcher brings a published tool list. Every Snitcher tier bundles person-level identity resolution, which a company-only team may want kept away from AI agents and their leads lists.
6sense opened an MCP server beta in July 2026 for Revenue Marketing customers, exposing predictive buying stages, keyword intent and campaign performance, and its documentation calls the current release read-only. The 6sense pricing report tracks a $62,440 median contract, so it suits an enterprise ABM team already on 6sense that wants buying-stage data further down the funnel.
Discover at about $1,061 a year is roughly a sixtieth of that median, and it writes lists and tags, which the 6sense beta can't.
Lusha's hosted server, covered in the Lusha MCP review, exposes 22 tools for contact search and enrichment, with no Website Visitors matching through MCP. It complements Leadfeeder more than it competes with it on the same job. The intent data providers ranking and the intent data pricing report cover the third-party intent vendors that sit beside these connectors.
↑ FACT SHEETFAQ
Is the Leadfeeder MCP server free?
It costs nothing extra on Discover, Activate or Scale, and isn't available on the free Lite plan. Enrichment calls made through it spend the plan's credits at the same rates as the platform.
Is Leadfeeder MCP still in beta?
The help centre and G2 still list it that way at the moment, and warn that setup steps and tools may change. The MCP product site no longer shows the label.
What's the difference between the Leadfeeder MCP server and the Leadfeeder API?
The API gives code-level access with API keys for custom integrations. The MCP server is a plain language layer over the same data with an OAuth sign-in, and both spend credits the same way, per Leadfeeder's MCP FAQ.
Can an AI agent turn a website visit into a qualified lead on its own?
It can do most of the steps. It ranks ICP-fit companies, helps qualify accounts, finds a contact and adds the account to a list, and every write asks for confirmation. Lead scoring still rests on company-level identification, so a person has to qualify the lead before outreach, and the leads it surfaces are companies. The ABM platforms ranking covers tools that score accounts further down the funnel.
How many companies use Leadfeeder MCP?
Leadfeeder doesn't publish an MCP adoption figure. Leadfeeder's MCP site invites buyers to "Join over 15,000 companies winning with Leadfeeder," a count of Leadfeeder customers overall. Leadfeeder publishes no average number of companies identified per site.
↑ FACT SHEETVerdict
The Leadfeeder MCP server is for a team already paying for Discover or above that wants its visit feed inside AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot. It adds nothing to the invoice, takes three steps to connect, and keeps agents' writes behind a confirm step. The 84 on time to first useful output and the 76 on price transparency come from those facts.
It isn't for Lite users, who get no MCP access, or for anyone expecting named individuals. It's also a poor fit for a team that can't let company and contact records leave Leadfeeder's AWS Ireland setup for an AI provider's cloud, which is why data residency scores 35.
The middle case is a team that likes the feed and fears the credit bill at the top of the funnel, where AI agents can fire an enrichment call on every new visit.
Turn off auto-approve on enrichment calls before follow-ups go out to new leads, check the credit balance after each long session, and calendar the renewal, since the 38 on contract flexibility comes from the 30-day notice and the complaints above. The documentation score of 40 reflects an unfinished release with no public tool list, and the jury's still out on how those 40 actions behave at volume.
