Lead Forensics pricing in 2026: what the trial measures and what buyers paid
The numbers Lead Forensics pricing, checked 17 October 2026
The median buyer on Vendr's data pays $17,486 a year, roughly 18 times the $948 a year RB2B's Starter plan lists.
Lead Forensics publishes two trial lengths on two of its own pages, one week and two weeks, so confirm the length in writing before the clock starts.
The spread between the lowest and highest tracked purchase is 41 to 1, so the median tells a buyer less than it would on a vendor with a rate card.
I'll write a 2,500+ word report on the vendor you name, with tracked contracts, trial terms and renewals sourced line by line. Yours to publish, from $200.
Lead Forensics pricing is a quote built from your own website traffic and the website visitors a trial can match, set after a free trial, with zero prices on its pricing page. The only tracked purchase data comes from Vendr's marketplace page, which puts the median annual contract at $17,486 across 5 purchases, with a low of $1,700 and a high of $70,613.
This report covers how the quote gets built, what the Essentials and Automate plans include, the costs that sit outside the platform fee, the contract terms reviewers complain about, and what the closest alternatives charge for website visitor identification. Every figure links to the page it came from, read on 17 October 2026.
It's written for marketing teams and sales teams at a B2B website weighing a demo call against a self-serve tool. The numbers matter because the price arrives at the end of the sales process, after a trial has already shown you leads, which is the weakest position from which to negotiate.
How much does Lead Forensics cost?
How much does Lead Forensics cost depends on one input. The cost, Lead Forensics tells prospects on its pricing page, "is calculated based on your website visitors." The page lists zero dollar figures for either plan, and both plan cards lead to a "Book a demo" button. That makes current pricing a number you only see on a sales call.
Vendr's tracked figures are the closest thing to a public price. Its median annual contract value of $17,486 rests on 5 purchases, a small sample, so the jury's still out on where a typical quote lands. The lowest tracked deal was $1,700 and the highest was $70,613, so a small B2B website and a mid market company with heavy traffic can sit 41 times apart on the same product.
Competitor blogs publish wider estimates.
Leadfeeder's comparison post, dated 11 September 2026 and written by a direct rival, estimates "$500 to $5,000+ per month" and an Essential plan range of $6,000 to $25,000 a year.
Warmly's pricing post gives a $6,000 to $98,000 annual range and an average near $35,000, attributed to "data provided by actual customers and Vendr's internal transaction data." Both are sales pages for competing tools, so treat them as estimates and the Vendr header figures as the tracked baseline.

Open the emailLead Forensics pricing plans: Essentials and Automate
Lead Forensics lists two plans. The pricing page doesn't assign every feature to a plan, but the layout puts nine features under the entry plan and four extra features under Automate. Both plans include unlimited users, and the page states that user access "does not affect the price." Seat count sits outside the usage limits Lead Forensics prices on, so marketing teams, sales reps and account managers can all log in on one contract.
Essential plan
The essential plan, listed as Essentials on the pricing page, covers the core visitor identification product: full firmographic insight, decision maker contact data, behavioral insights, real time alerts, a lead and pipeline manager, unlimited user access, a dedicated customer success manager, and the customer training academy with certifications, which shortens the learning curve for new users.
It suits a team that wants to see which companies visit and work those accounts by hand, with website visitor identification as the whole job.
Automate plan
The Automate plans add CRM integration, workflow automation with CRM lead creation, automated lead routing, and ABM account matching. Automated lead routing is what lets you assign leads to the right sales rep without someone copying a company name into the CRM. Integrations named on the integrations page are Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Pipedrive and Zoho, plus 70+ apps through Zapier for marketing automation tools such as Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign.

Plan placement as laid out on Lead Forensics' pricing page, read on 17 October 2026. Neither plan carries a list price.
Lead scoring appears on zero Lead Forensics product pages read for this report, so teams that rank accounts by score build that inside the CRM. The devil's in the details here: the CRM sync that most buyers need sits on the higher plan.
How Lead Forensics pricing works: the trial sets the quote
Lead Forensics pricing works through its own trial. You fill in a form or call, a tracking script goes on the site, and the trial counts how many website visitors arrive and how many of them are business visitors. The pricing page says the trial "is used to measure your visitor volume and determine your cost," and a representative reviews the results with you when it ends.
The demo-process post adds that "Pricing comes at the end of the trial, alongside an ROI calculation based on your own website's data," and that "what you pay should reflect the value you'll get."
Its comparison against Lead Magic names a second input: "Lead Forensics pricing is based on how much of your traffic we can identify." So the quote depends on how much traffic you get and how many identified companies the trial produces, which ties price to traffic volume and to identification quality at once.
That second input matters. Website visitor identification tools work off IP addresses, running a reverse IP lookup against a proprietary database of company IP ranges, and Lead Forensics's Lead Magic page notes that "identification works best when visitors are browsing from a business network."
Visits from corporate networks resolve to a company name; a buyer reading from a home connection usually resolves to an ISP. A site whose website visitors mostly work remotely will see fewer matches in its own trial, and a smaller quote to match.
Read between the lines and the trial does two jobs: it proves the tool on your own traffic, and it hands the vendor your website traffic volume before the price conversation starts. The Lead Magic comparison also says trial users "keep all the identified companies we find," so the visitor data from the trial is yours to work even if you walk away.
Hidden costs outside the platform fee
The pricing page lists one input, traffic, but three other line items can move the bill.
- Contact data. The pricing page puts decision maker contact data in the plan list, while the Lead Magic comparison says decision-maker contact details are "Available for an additional fee" and vary "depending on package." Ask which one applies to your quote.
- CRM integration. CRM sync and CRM lead creation sit on Automate. A retail operations manager who moved to Leadfeeder wrote on Capterra in May 2021 that "LeadFeeder came in at half the price and they do not charge for crm integrations the way Lead Forensics does."
- Contract length. Leadfeeder's post says Lead Forensics "requires annual contracts and does not offer monthly billing," and that 24- or 36-month terms earn a small discount. The Lead Forensics pricing page states no contract length, billing cycle or notice period.
A stitch in time saves nine: get each of these written into the order form before signing, because the renewal terms below are where reviewers report the largest surprises.
Contract terms, notice period and renewals
Contract terms draw the sharpest reviews. Lead Forensics holds a 4.6 TrustScore across 993 reviews on Trustpilot, and the complaints that do appear cluster on renewals that land out of the blue and on notice periods. A reviewer named Ian wrote on 22 September 2026:
Trustpilot gives Lead Forensics a 4.6 TrustScore across 993 reviews, with complaints clustered on renewals and notice periods.

Source: linked, checked, dated"an unexplainable 10% price increase and with no advice, warning or reminder"
Ian, Trustpilot, 22 September 2026
Ashley Vaughan, reviewing on Trustpilot on 16 September 2026, described the notice clock:
"They have 90 day cancellation terms but instead of extra cost they feel they can renew you automatically for a full year."
Ashley Vaughan, Trustpilot, 16 September 2026
The same reviewer added that the product "isn't worth the high fee they charge." On G2, where Lead Forensics rates 4.4 across 1,187 reviews, Emily P., a marketing project strategist, wrote in July 2026:
"I would warn others about the auto-renew policy that kicks in 3 months before the end of the contract."
Emily P., Marketing Project Strategist, G2, July 2026
The two Trustpilot reviews and the G2 review describe the same pattern: a notice period of about 90 days and an automatic renewal behind it. That's a red flag, so keep an eye on the renewal date from the day the contract is signed. Our reports on how far to trust Trustpilot and how G2 makes its money cover what review scores on these platforms can and can't tell you.
What buyers say about value
Positive reviews exist too, and they tend to come from teams whose own traffic produced deals. On Capterra UK, an education reviewer named Hannah wrote in September 2026 that the team had "already have generated more income than we invested." The same reviewer flagged data quality: "Occasionally the contacts provided within LF are not accurate or fully up to date."
"Sometimes it gets its wires crossed and displays the wrong company name."
Maciek, Real Estate, Capterra UK, April 2026
Wrong matches cost money twice: once in the subscription and again in the sales rep's hours chasing a visiting company that never visited. Capterra's own review summary notes that "pricing feels high for smaller businesses."
How to negotiate a Lead Forensics quote
The quote follows the trial, so the negotiation starts before the trial does. Five steps keep the ball in your court:
- Get the trial length, start date and end date in writing, since the vendor's own pages state one week and two weeks.
- Run the own trial during a normal traffic month, and ask for the one week trial to start on a Monday. A campaign spike inflates how many visits the trial counts, and the quote with it.
- Ask the representative for the identified companies count and the per-company figure the quote implies, then compare it with Vendr's $17,486 median.
- Price Essentials and Automate side by side, and ask which contact data and CRM integrations carry an extra fee.
- Write the notice period, renewal date and any renewal uplift cap into the order form. Warmly's post cites a Vendr case where a $22,800 offer was settled at $21,600, so renewal pricing has room to move.
It's easier said than done once a dashboard full of leads is on screen, which is the point of running the numbers before the trial ends.
Who Lead Forensics pricing fits
The pricing suits a team with steady B2B website traffic from corporate networks, a sales process built around account managers and a dedicated customer success manager, account management included, and a budget in the five figures a year. A Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce shop on the Automate plan gets the companies visiting pushed straight into the CRM. Unlimited users helps larger teams, because the cost per seat falls with every login added.
It fits poorly where traffic is small, mostly remote, or mostly consumer. A site with a few hundred business visitors a month can pay a fraction of the Vendr median with a self-serve tool, and test it on a monthly plan first, which lets a small team hit the ground running. The visitor intelligence software ranking places Lead Forensics 10th of 10 for exactly this reason: it's the one tool there with no published price.
Lead Forensics identifies companies, so it's a company level tool. Person level identification, which names the individual visitor, comes from person level tools such as RB2B for US traffic; the trade-off between the two is laid out in our RB2B review.
Lead Forensics against the cheaper alternatives
Every Lead Forensics alternative in the table below publishes a price, and that pricing transparency is the main difference a buyer feels before the first call. The self-serve tools bill monthly; Lead Forensics sells on annual contracts, per Leadfeeder's post. Prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, read on 17 October 2026.
| Tool | Entry price | Free plan or trial | Identification | Billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lead Forensics | Quote only; Vendr median $17,486/yr† | 1-week trial | Company level | Annual, per Leadfeeder's post |
| Snitcher | $49/mo for 0 to 50 company IDs | 14-day trial | Company level | Monthly or annual |
| RB2B | $79/mo Starter, 300 resolutions | Free plan, 150 resolutions/mo | Person and company level, US | Monthly |
| Leadfeeder | €79/mo* billed annually | Free plan, 100 companies/mo | Company level | Monthly or annual |
| Warmly | $10,000/yr | Demo | Person and company level | Annual or quarterly |
* Leadfeeder prices in euros, so a Discover year is €948. At the European Central Bank reference rate of 1 EUR = 1.1195 USD, published 14 October 2026 and refreshed weekly, EUR 79 is about $88.44, EUR 948 is about $1,061, EUR 113 is about $127 and EUR 369 is about $413. † Lead Forensics' figure is Vendr's tracked median across 5 purchases. Every other price is the vendor's own list price.
Leadfeeder is the closest like-for-like Lead Forensics alternative: company level identification, unlimited users, a free plan and a 14-day trial, with full detail in our Leadfeeder review. RB2B adds real time Slack notifications and person-level matches for US traffic, priced in our RB2B pricing report. Warmly costs the most of the published options at $10,000 a year and still lands well under the Vendr median.

What to budget
Three budget lines cover most buyers, and transparent pricing on the cheaper tools makes the first two easy to check.
A team testing visitor data on a small site can run Snitcher or RB2B for under $1,000 a year. A team that wants a managed product with a dedicated customer success manager should budget Vendr's $17,486 median, then add headroom for a renewal uplift, the problem Ian's Trustpilot review describes. A high-traffic site on Automate should plan toward the $70,613 top of Vendr's tracked range.
Annual contracts lock that figure in for a year at a time. Whatever the band, the workflow after identification costs time too: a rep reviewing the feed, a LinkedIn connection request to the right buyer, a CRM record. Price that labour alongside the subscription, because it's the lion's share of the cost per meeting.
Frequently asked questions
Is Lead Forensics worth it?
Is Lead Forensics worth the money comes down to traffic. Reviewers with steady corporate traffic report deals that paid back the fee, while reviewers on Trustpilot and G2 report renewal and notice-period problems. Run the trial on a normal month, compare the per-company cost against Leadfeeder and Snitcher, and decide on that number.
Does Lead Forensics have a free plan?
Lead Forensics lists zero free plans. The Lead Forensics offer is a one week trial per its pricing page, or two weeks per its demo-process post, and trial users keep the companies identified.
How much does Leadfeeder cost?
Leadfeeder's Lite plan costs €0 for 100 companies a month. Discover costs €79* a month billed annually or €113* monthly, and Activate costs €369* a month billed annually, per Leadfeeder's pricing page.
Does Lead Forensics identify individual visitors?
Lead Forensics identifies the company behind a visit and pairs it with decision-maker contacts from its own records; its homepage describes the product as identifying "the companies behind your anonymous B2B website visitors."
Is Lead Forensics GDPR compliant?
The site footer shows a GDPR compliance badge and an ISO 27001 badge and links to its compliance and privacy pages. Ask for the data processing agreement and the retention window in writing before the trial script goes live.
Bottom line
Lead Forensics pricing is a custom quote set by a one-week or two-week trial on your own traffic, and the only tracked data puts the median year at $17,486, inside a $1,700 to $70,613 spread. Unlimited users and a dedicated success manager come with both plans; CRM sync, lead routing and ABM matching sit on Automate.
The costs to watch are contact data fees, the Automate upgrade, and a renewal clock that reviewers say starts about 90 days before the contract ends. Every alternative in the comparison publishes a price, and three of the four alternatives start under $1,100 a year.
If the trial shows enough identified companies to justify five figures, negotiate the renewal terms into the order form. If it doesn't, cut your losses and test a self-serve tool from the lead intelligence software ranking, or read our Lead Forensics review for the product side.
