RB2B pricing runs from a $0 free plan to $50,000 a month on the largest Pro+ volume, and the number that decides your bill sits underneath the plan name: the cost of one resolution, meaning one identified website visitor. On the RB2B pricing page, read on 16 October 2026, that cost falls from 33.2 cents on the 600-resolution Pro+ tier to 2 cents at 2.5 million, while overage runs 25 to 45 cents.

Most B2B website traffic arrives without a form fill, and RB2B charges to name that anonymous traffic, one visitor at a time. This report covers every paid plan and its resolution ladder, how credits meter company level and person level matches, overage and add-ons, refund and cancellation terms, and the four coverage figures RB2B publishes for one product. It ends with five rival visitor identification tools and a budget by traffic size.

It's written for founders, marketers and sales teams pricing a visitor identification tool before a trial runs out. Every price below links to RB2B's own site or help center, and every quote links to the review it came from. The RB2B review tests the product itself; this page sticks to the bill.

How much does RB2B cost?

RB2B costs $0 on the free plan, $79 a month on Starter, from $149 a month on the Pro plan and from $199 a month on Pro+. Paid plans start at $79, and the Pro and Pro+ prices climb with the number of monthly resolutions you buy.

RB2B pricing tops out in a quote. The FAQ says Pro+ volumes above 12,500 a month are priced with its team, so the top of the ladder is custom pricing in practice, even though the plan dropdown lists a list price for every tier up to 2.5 million. For lead generation teams the useful number is the cost per identified visitor, in the tier table below.

Billing has been month-to-month since 15 January 2026. RB2B's January 2026 billing update removed standard annual options, doubled the monthly credit limits on every paid plan, and let existing annual accounts keep their terms. An account that leaves its annual plan can't return to one.

RB2B pricing plans, tier by tier

Four plans sit on the public rate card, and a fifth, Clay Agency, lives only in the help center. Each tier gates the same three things: what level of visitor data you get, where it can go, and how many visitors it covers.

Free plan

The free plan gives 150 monthly resolutions of company level identification pushed to a Slack channel. It shows the companies visiting your site with repeat-visit tracking, and nothing on the person: no names, email addresses or LinkedIn URLs, and no pageview history, so there's no historical data on what a company read. That's per RB2B's side-by-side plan comparison.

Before January 2026 the free tier included person level profiles; the billing update removed them. Every account starts with a 7-day full-featured trial before dropping to free.

Starter plan

Starter costs $79 a month for 300 monthly resolutions and adds person level identification for US visitors. It pushes LinkedIn URLs to Slack or Microsoft Teams with LinkedIn profiles, full name, job title, company name and pageview history. It excludes business email addresses and all other integrations, so a lead can't flow into a CRM automatically.

Pro plan

Pro starts at $149 for 600 resolutions and stops at $349 for 2,500. It's the cheapest tier where lead routing works, so a HubSpot or Clay rule can trigger workflows the moment a visitor resolves. Over Starter it adds:

  • Business email and expanded integrations: the Salesforce integration, HubSpot, Clay, Zapier, Apollo, webhooks and CSV export
  • Hot Pages, which tags visitors who view high-intent pages as intent signals
  • Hot Leads for ICP filtering, which lets you filter visitors by company size, revenue, seniority and geography
  • URL and domain exclusions, the RB2B API and human support escalation

Pro+ with Premium Resolution

Pro+ costs $50 a month more than Pro at each shared tier and uses Premium Resolution, which RB2B's Pro and Pro+ help article describes as a waterfall of external data sources on top of its own identity graph. RB2B's plan table lists one Pro+ feature as coming soon: up to 3 additional contacts per ICP account.

Clay Agency plan

The Clay Agency plan costs $49 a month for 1,250 credits and sends identified visitors to Clay and nowhere else. Extra credits come in 1,000-credit blocks at $99 each, up to 10 a cycle, and Pro or Pro+ accounts can't downgrade to it. Teams already running enrichment in Clay pay 3.9 cents a credit, cheaper than any Pro+ option below 50,000 resolutions.

All prices are RB2B list prices. The ladder comes from the tier dropdown on RB2B's rate card, which matches the Pro and Pro+ help article updated 1 May 2026. The cost per resolution column is the monthly price divided by the resolutions it buys.

Bar chart of RB2B cost per resolution: Starter 26.3 cents, Pro 600 at 24.8 cents, Pro 2,500 at 14.0 cents, Pro+ 600 at 33.2 cents, Pro+ 5,000 at 10.0 cents, Pro+ 12,500 at 6.8 cents and Pro+ 2.5 million at 2.0 cents, against overage of 45 cents on Starter and 25 cents on Pro
The entry Pro+ option is RB2B's most expensive resolution at 33.2 cents, and overage on Starter costs 45 cents.

How the RB2B credit system works

RB2B sells monthly resolutions, which its help center also calls credits. Its credit system article, updated 6 July 2026, sets the rules:

  • One credit covers one unique visitor for a 30-day cycle, so repeat visitors cost nothing extra inside it.
  • One visitor can cost up to 12 credits a year, one per monthly cycle in which they're identified.
  • A company level match uses a credit even when no person is attached.
  • Credits expire at the end of the cycle and don't roll over.
  • Buying additional credits mid-cycle restarts the cycle, bills you immediately and folds unused credits into the new pool.
  • An upgrade mid-cycle is prorated for the rest of the period.

The company level rule is the one that catches teams out. Since January 2026 every identified visitor consumes a credit, and global tracking is on by default on every plan. International traffic identified at company level draws down the same pool as US visitors with LinkedIn profiles attached, so a site with heavy European traffic can drain 600 credits on firm names alone. RB2B lets you switch global tracking off.

RB2B's FAQ puts setup at under 5 minutes: you install one script in your site header. When credits run out, the help center says script verification and traffic detection can stop until the cycle refreshes, and the script won't reactivate itself. RB2B publishes a guide to estimating how many visitors you'll need credits for. The tool works on existing traffic, so the bill tracks your website visits, and visitor identification generates no new leads on its own.

Overage, add-ons and contract terms

Overage

RB2B's rate card bills overage at 25¢ per resolution on Pro and Pro+ and 45¢ on Starter. Its overages FAQ, dated 18 May 2026, still lists $0.85 and $0.45 per credit for Pro, and RB2B's own help articles say rb2b.com takes precedence. Overage is opt-in: you enable it on the Credit Usage page and set a monthly cap, and it's billed with the following month's fee.

Overage rarely beats moving up a tier. A Pro user on 600 resolutions who needs 1,250 pays $162.50 in overage on top of $149, or $311.50, against $249 for the 1,250 tier. A Starter user who needs 600 pays $135 in overage for a $214 bill, while $149 Pro buys the same 600 plus email addresses.

Add-ons

Additional domains cost $99 a month each, up to 5, on Pro and Pro+, which adds $1,188 a year per extra site. Agencies get a separate program with a 20% sub-account discount, per the RB2B FAQ.

Refunds, cancellation and renewal

The RB2B refund policy, updated 9 September 2026, states a general no refund policy for all subscription charges, renewals included, and auto-renewal is on by default. Refunds aren't issued for unused time or forgotten cancellations. Downgrades and cancellations take effect immediately, per the cancellation article, with unused credits carried to the free account.

The trial has its own fine print. RB2B's trial article runs it on Pro+ with a 1,000-profile collection cap, starts the clock at the first identified visitor, and suspends the account at day 7 until you pick a plan. No credit card is required, so nothing renews by accident.

Identification coverage: four figures for one product

Match rates decide what a resolution is worth, since you pay per identified visitor and unmatched traffic produces no lead. RB2B publishes four different match rates. The plan table lists 15-20% coverage for Contact Level ID on Starter and Pro and 35-45% on Pro+, with the same figures for Company Level ID.

The FAQ says customers typically see 30-40% of visitors identified at the person level, US only, and claims 70-80% of website traffic combined. The side-by-side help article puts Starter and Pro at about 30-40% and Pro+ at 70-80%.

Range chart of RB2B's published identification coverage: 15-20% contact level on Starter and Pro and 35-45% on Pro+ from the plan table, 30-40% person level from the FAQ, 30-40% Starter and Pro and 70-80% Pro+ from the help center, and a 70-80% combined claim from the FAQ
RB2B's own pages say it can identify anywhere from 15% to 80% of visitors, and the plan table carries the lowest figures.

Email a brief

The plan table is the document a buyer pays against, so its 15-20% is the figure to plan on. At that identification rate, 1,000 US visitors return roughly 150 to 200 named visitors, and the other 800-plus visitors stay anonymous. The $50 a month Pro+ premium buys a jump to 35-45% on the same table, which more than doubles the named visitors from the same US traffic. The 600-credit cap stays the same, so those credits run out twice as fast.

Data quality is the other half of what visitor data is worth. RB2B matches visitors through a publisher network using first and third party cookies, device IDs and IP addresses, with Demandbase's reverse-IP network for company level identification, per its FAQ. Reviewers quoted below report bounced emails, thin visitor data and profiles that don't match the actual people on the site, so inaccurate data burns credits you've already paid for.

The privacy cost of person level data

Person level identification is US only by design, so for a site whose website visitor base is mostly European, RB2B's bill buys company level data only. RB2B's FAQ says its person level database only holds profiles matched to US home addresses and that GDPR doesn't apply to it, while global company level ID requires you to run a consent tool. RB2B is registered as a data broker in California, Texas, Vermont and Oregon, per its data broker registration article.

The compliance work lands on the buyer. RB2B's compliance FAQ says its script can't exclude regions such as California, and tells customers to disclose RB2B in their privacy policy, add a cookie notice, link an opt-out and consult legal experts. Budget an hour of counsel time before the script goes live.

The privacy policy names the operator as GetEmails, LLC, doing business as Retention.com, and reports 23,323 Delete Act requests in 2025, all complied with in a median of one day. That's the public count of people who asked RB2B to show, delete or stop selling their data in one year.

What users say about RB2B's price

Website visitor tools draw mixed reviews on price, and RB2B is no exception; its own pricing page carries four customer testimonials and no complaints. RB2B holds 4.5 out of 5 across 284 reviews on G2, and G2's pros-and-cons summary, read 16 October 2026, tags "expensive" and "limited credits" among the top complaints. Several quotes describe 200-credit allowances that RB2B's current rate card no longer lists.

"The credit-based pricing model is a drawback. After the free trial of 700 credits, costs jump from about $100/month for 200 credits"

Tyler W., Mid-Market, rated 3.5/5 on G2.

A small-business reviewer on G2, rating it 3.5/5, wrote that "The paid rate is grossly overpriced, but there is a free one, it's good enough for a lot of things." A mid-market reviewer, Abhinav K., asked for page-level control: "200 credits is way too less, at least give us an option to choose the pages we want to track?"

Coverage complaints follow the plan-table numbers more closely than the headline. Devin W., a small-business reviewer on G2, wrote that it "Only surfaces about 20-30% of website visitors", and a mid-market verified user listed a "Relatively low share of visitors are identified (maybe <20%)".

"The data they provide is also seldom complete or accurate, regardless of the level of plan."

Jim, COO, Consumer Services, 11-50 employees, rated 1.0/5 on Capterra, 17 August 2026.

A verified user in information technology, writing on G2 on 11 June 2024, summed up the credit problem in eight words: "We burn through our credits on non-ICP traffic." Hot Leads filtering only arrives on Pro, so Free and Starter users pay for every visitor that matches, including any non-ICP site visit.

RB2B against its alternatives

RB2B is the cheapest person level visitor identification tool in this table: its paid plans start lower than any rival's entry tier, and it's the only one with month-to-month list prices for every tier. The visitor intelligence software ranking scores ten of them on entry price, contract structure and privacy posture.

* Leadfeeder publishes euro prices. At the European Central Bank reference rate of 1 EUR = 1.1195 USD, published 14 October 2026 and refreshed weekly, EUR 79 is about $88.44 and EUR 369 is about $413. † ZoomInfo's figure is Vendr's tracked median across 1,574 purchases, covered in the ZoomInfo pricing report. Every other price is the vendor's own list price.

Leadfeeder is the direct rival for company level identification, with a free Lite tier capped at the last 100 companies a month and paid plans billed annually. For a site with mostly European traffic, where RB2B can only return firm names, the two tools sell the same output. Leadfeeder's Activate plan, at €369* a month, adds verified emails and phones.

Warmly bundles identification with AI chat and outbound tools for teams that want one contract, at 10.5 times RB2B's $79 Starter per month.

Opensend targets e-commerce brands and starts at $400 a month on annual billing for 2,000+ identities. RB2B pricing undercuts enterprise data platforms by a wide margin: a year of Starter at $948 is under 3% of ZoomInfo's $33,500 median contract. The intent data pricing report puts all of these against third party intent vendors.

Lead Forensics, 10th in the same visitor intelligence ranking, publishes no price at all; Vendr's tracked median is $17,486 a year, and the Lead Forensics pricing report shows how its trial sets the quote.

What to budget for RB2B

Each website visitor you identify costs one credit per 30-day cycle, so size the plan from monthly US traffic first, then from the integrations and intent signals you need. Sites with consistent website traffic can estimate credits from last month's unique visitors multiplied by the plan-table coverage, since a returning visitor's second site visit in the same cycle is free. A year of list price looks like this:

  • Testing the category: $0 on the free tier, Slack only, company names only.
  • Small sales team with US traffic, Slack or Teams alerts on named visitors: $948 a year on Starter.
  • CRM integrations and business emails at 600 resolutions: $1,788 a year on Pro, or $2,388 on Pro+.
  • Mid-market lead generation at 12,500 resolutions: $10,188 a year on Pro+, before any negotiated discount.
  • Each extra website: $1,188 a year.

The bill has a fixed part, the plan fee, and a variable part, overage, so budget both. Read the result against what a lead costs you elsewhere. Pro's 600-resolution tier buys 7,200 identified visitors a year for $1,788, about 24.8 cents each, and the open question is how many of them are actual people in your ICP. The lead intelligence software ranking compares RB2B with contact databases such as Lusha and Apollo that sell records with no traffic required.

The ROI test is acquisition math. Customer acquisition cost (CAC) is what you spend to win one customer, and customer lifetime value (LTV) is what that customer pays you over the relationship. If a $1,788 Pro year produces one closed deal, RB2B adds $1,788 to that deal's CAC. Price sensitivity differs by segment: a founder testing the category weighs $79 differently from a mid-market team weighing $849 a month.

Frequently asked questions

Is RB2B free?

Yes, RB2B has a free tier with 150 monthly resolutions of company level identification pushed to Slack. It returns firms only, with no person level data, emails or LinkedIn profiles. Every account also gets a 7-day full-featured trial with no credit card, and support on every plan includes AI chat and AI email.

How much does RB2B cost?

RB2B costs $79 a month on Starter for 300 resolutions, $149 to $349 a month on Pro for 600 to 2,500, and $199 to $50,000 a month on Pro+ for 600 to 2.5 million. Overage costs 25 cents per resolution on Pro and Pro+ and 45 cents on Starter.

Which companies currently use RB2B?

RB2B's homepage says over 100,000 websites use it and carries testimonials from staff at Mixmax, Reply and Sendspark. It doesn't publish a customer list beyond those names and its logo strip.

What does RB2B stand for and what does it do?

RB2B doesn't spell the name out on its plan or FAQ pages. Its privacy policy names the operator as GetEmails, LLC, and its FAQ calls Retention.com the parent company. The product is a visitor identification tool: one script tag works to identify anonymous website visitors and sends names, LinkedIn profiles and business emails to Slack, a CRM or 50+ other apps.

What does B2B pricing mean?

B2B pricing is how a vendor charges other businesses. Software vendors mix a handful of models, and one contract often carries several:

  • Subscription pricing: a recurring fee for access, the default in SaaS.
  • Tiered pricing: predefined bundles where each step up adds volume or features.
  • Usage-based pricing: a bill that rises with consumption, such as credits or overage.
  • Freemium: a free version with paid upgrades for advanced features.
  • Value-based pricing: a price set from the economic value the buyer expects to get.
  • Cost-plus pricing: a markup added to the vendor's cost of delivery.
  • Dynamic pricing: prices that move with demand and market conditions.

RB2B is a hybrid of four: a freemium free plan, tiered monthly subscriptions, usage-based overage per resolution, and negotiated custom pricing above 12,500 resolutions. Enterprise vendors such as ZoomInfo sell negotiated annual or multi-year agreements, which give the vendor predictable revenue and run the sale past a buying committee of several decision-makers, so two customers can pay different prices for the same package.

Does RB2B work outside the US?

Partly. Company level ID is global on every plan, while person level visitor ID covers US visitors only. International traffic still consumes credits at company level unless you switch global tracking off.

Bottom line

RB2B's rate card is the most complete of the six vendors in the comparison table: every tier from $0 to $50,000 a month is printed across four public plans, billing is monthly, and no sales call stands between you and the 600-resolution Pro tier. The cost per resolution falls from 33.2 cents to 2 cents as volume rises, and the entry tiers cost the most per identified visitor.

The catches sit in the help center. Company level matches and international traffic draw down credits, unused credits expire, refunds aren't offered, and the coverage figure you pay against is 15-20% on Pro, a fraction of the 70-80% headline. Person level data also hands your teams a privacy policy update and a consent decision. Run the 7-day trial on your own US traffic, count the matches that fit your ICP, and price the plan from that count before you upgrade.
