Not forA buyer who wants a price before a sales call: GlobalData's subscription is quote-only.
Not forA team that needs one sizing table this week, where a single $4,200 Dataintelo report gets there faster.
Pairs well with Dataintelo
Dataintelo is a syndicated market research publisher run out of Pune. It sells off-the-shelf market research reports, custom research services and a subscription dashboard, and its homepage claims 10,000 reports a year, 500 consulting projects a year, 3,000 clients and 450 consultants and analysts. One report on the RV accessory market costs $4,200 for a single reader.
This review covers who runs the company, what each licence buys, how the market research reports are built, what the public ratings show once you count them, the refund terms, and four alternatives. All findings here trace to a Dataintelo page or a directory record checked in November 2026. The user quotes come from G2, Trustpilot, CrowdReviews, GoodFirms and Quora.
By the end you'll know which licence fits, what the free sample tests, and which market research data to verify before it goes into a deck.
It's written for decision makers at businesses who found a Dataintelo report while searching for a market size and want to know if the number is safe to put in a deck. Short version: the newest report pages are better documented than most of this category, the older ones are thin, and the review trail is too small to settle the question.
It matters now because Dataintelo's market research pages turn up in Google and AI answers for niche market sizes, and since August 2026 it has added an Insights section and the Atlas platform, so more buyers meet its numbers before they meet the company.
↑ FACT SHEETWho runs Dataintelo
Two founders, two legal entities, one address. The team page names Amol Ghate and Animesh Pandey as founders. The about page gives the company as Dataintelo Consulting Pvt. Ltd. at Siddh Icon, Baner, Pune, Maharashtra, India, the only office the site lists, with experts available "24x5" for support.
Two other report sites are a dead ringer for it: the same building and the same +1 909 414 1393 number. The Market Intelo contact page and the Research Intelo contact page each call the brand a product of DataIntelo Solutions LLP and add a Global Corporate Office at 500 East E Street, Ontario, CA 91764.
That changes how third-party comparisons read. PeerSpot ranks Dataintelo 12th and Market Intelo 10th in Finance Management Consulting, 5.4% mindshare each, which is one operator compared against itself on 0 reviews per product.
Headcount depends on the directory. Clutch says 50 to 249 employees and a 2016 founding; G2's seller profile says 2015 and lists Energy Consulting, Financial Consulting, BI Consulting and Market Research Services.
The team page names 9 people with research titles and two sales leads. 10,000 reports across 450 staff is 22 reports per analyst per year, which is easier said than done for sized, segmented work. Glassdoor carries 6 employee reviews at 4.2.
What types of services Dataintelo offers: market research reports, custom work and a dashboard
Three services sit under one checkout. Syndicated reports track market trends, sizes and competitors in markets the company says it actively monitors, updated annually, across 10 store categories from Energy & Power to ICT, Semiconductor & Electronics. Custom research is scoped by email and developed to the buyer's specific business needs, and Dataintelo will create a custom cut by country or company on request.
Every licence bundles the dashboard for 12 months, and its features per the checkout are "data refreshes, alerts and the what's-changed layer."
Dataintelo's store is large and overlapping, and picking the right camera report is a needle in a haystack. A site search for cameras returns separate pages for the camera market, digital cameras, compact cameras, full frame, HD, cinema and time-lapse, each its own report with its own forecast to 2034. The store's checkout and sample IDs had reached 739,519 by November 2026, going by the checkout URL for the RV accessory title.
Directory listings and AI answers repeat two bigger claims, 500,000+ market research reports and 5,000+ micro markets in its database, both sourced to Dataintelo's LinkedIn page, which we couldn't load. The figure on its own homepage is 10,000 reports a year.
The FAQ lists PDF, Excel, Word and PPT and lets businesses request extra data points worth up to 10% of the report cost after purchase. That's the customisation reviewers praise, with a ceiling written in. The FAQ also promises a post-sales call with the author or analyst to assist with report questions.
Atlas, the Insights section and what changed in 2026
The content layer around the reports is recent. The Insights section lists 43 items, 41 analysis articles and 2 press releases, the oldest dated August 2026. Automotive leads with 13 insights, Energy and Power has 6, Technology has 4, and the latest developments include a CCUS in power and industry piece from October 2026.
Both press releases promote Atlas, which Dataintelo calls its market intelligence platform. One headline claims Atlas "Cuts Automotive Market Research Cost 20x and Time From Weeks to Minutes." Talk is cheap: treat it as marketing until a customer repeats it with data.
The demo page lists three features, led by "Instant access to real-time market data" and gives no count of markets, users or refresh rate. Businesses that want to analyze the dashboard before buying a report get the sample trial; the demo itself goes through sales.
↑ FACT SHEETDataintelo pricing: four licences per report
No price appears on a report page. The numbers show only inside the checkout, and on the RV Accessory Market Research Report 2034 in November 2026 they read $2,999 Online, $4,200 single user, $5,500 multi user and $7,900 corporate.
The refund page defines multi user as up to five users and corporate as organisation or department access. Five readers on the multi user licence cost $1,100 each, and the corporate tier is 1.88 times the single user price; its benefits over multi user are access for a whole department or organisation.
The checkout says the dashboard "Renews at ~45% of the license price," so a single user buyer who keeps it pays about $1,890 in year two for continued access to data refreshes and alerts.
Scalability stops at one market per licence. The checkout shows no bundle or volume tier, so businesses buying ten reports pay ten times, and the dashboard's scalability across markets follows the same rule. Payment runs through CC Avenue, PayPal or wire, and wire orders activate once funds clear in 1 to 2 business days.
For scale, our market research cost report prices 27 vendors across surveys, syndicated reports and analyst contracts. A $4,200 report costs an arm and a leg next to a $39 trend tool and far less than an analyst-firm seat, and its value depends on the next section.
Methodology, data quality and the camera problem
Dataintelo's newest report pages document more than the category usually does. The RV accessory report states a market definition at end-user prices and names its sources: RV Industry Association shipment reports, the RVIA 2025 Industry Profile and Germany's CIVD.
It says the analysis rests on "primary and secondary research conducted through October 2026, with data verified as of October 2026," logs a last revision on November 5, 2026, and profiles 15 competitors by market share. Customers can check those findings: the trade bodies publish their own shipment numbers, and the report's growth forecasts can be compared with them line by line.
Older pages are thinner. The digital cameras report lists 101 pages and an Author line with no name; the cinema, compact and full frame pages run 268 to 282 pages with the same blank field. That template needs further development before its findings carry a byline, and the risks of quoting an unsigned number fall on the buyer.
Figures across those pages don't reconcile. The camera market report sizes manufacturer-level sales of dedicated camera bodies around the world, fixed-lens digital and cinema included, at $10.80 billion in 2025. The digital cameras page says $8.74 billion and the cinema page $4.8 billion for that year: $13.54 billion together, $2.74 billion more than the parent that contains both.
The HD camera report values its market at $27.5 billion, 2.5 times the parent page, and its page carries no market definition naming which of the parent's exclusions (smartphones, security cameras, webcams) it adds back. The digital cameras page itself credits demand across "developed and emerging economies."
Two unrelated markets also land on near-identical growth curves. RV accessories go from $8.60 billion to $12.56 billion at 4.3%; digital cameras go from $8.74 billion to $12.77 billion at 4.2%. Matching curves can happen by coincidence. For businesses pasting one number into a board deck without the trend analysis and definition behind it, they're still a red flag.
Data quality depends on which template produced the report, and only the layout tells you which one you're buying.
Independent discussions point the same way. AI search answers about Dataintelo summarise a r/Marketresearch thread as raising inaccuracies and inconsistencies in its reports, and claims that some data is fabricated. Reddit blocks automated reading, so this review quotes none of it.
Fabrication can't be confirmed from outside the company. The camera pages do show that two published figures can't both be right, which is reason enough to verify market research data against its named source before it reaches a slide.
The safe process for businesses is the one the newer pages invite. Pull the sample, read between the lines of the market definition, and connect the base-year number to the trade body named in the sources before you pay. Better decision making starts with that check, and it costs nothing. Data that survives it can support informed decisions and earns the label market intelligence.
↑ FACT SHEETDataintelo reviews: what 7 public ratings show
The review trail is short, five-star and partly flagged. G2 lists 3 reviews, all 5 out of 5. One, from a manufacturing reviewer in July 2026 who came in through a G2 invite, carries the label "Business partner of the seller or seller's competitor, not included in G2 scores."
Trustpilot shows 2 reviews, both 5 stars, both posted on 21 October 2026 for experiences dated 1 October, on a profile Dataintelo claimed in June 2025. CrowdReviews marks Dataintelo an unverified vendor with a Community Feedback Score of 5.00 from one review. GoodFirms carries one more, says every review there is verified before it goes live, and lists the firm's service focus as 100% market research.
Clutch and PeerSpot have none, and the ProvenExpert profile some AI answers cite isn't public. That's seven ratings on four review sites plus one Quora answer, a drop in the bucket next to 3,000 claimed buyers, from a firm that names Pfizer, Goldman Sachs and Deloitte on its homepage. Our Trustpilot reliability report and G2 review explain how each platform screens what gets published.
What users praise
Speed, responsiveness and depth of analysis come up in nearly every review. An enterprise investment banking reviewer on G2, October 2026, wrote that "they transform complex market data into clear, actionable insights" and added:
"I especially value their ability to customize research to fit specific business needs, which saves time and ensures relevance."
Verified User in Investment Banking, G2, 13 October 2026
A Verified User in Market Research at a mid-market firm wrote on G2 that month that "The reports have been helpful in understanding market trends, evaluating competitors, and identifying potential growth opportunities," and "the team has been responsive to our requirements."
The same reviewer would recommend it to "businesses, researchers, consultants, and decision-makers." Those insights are helpful on service quality and say little about the accuracy of the data, which no reviewer tests against an outside benchmark.
Dan Perez on Trustpilot, October 2026, described the working style:
"When problems arise, and they always do when working with market data, they partnered with us to solve the issues one at a time."
Dan Perez, Trustpilot, 21 October 2026
Chris Skaare, posting the same day, said "They clearly communicated their process and timeline and were able to meet all of our objectives." Andrea Sommer on GoodFirms wrote "The dashboard interface was intuitive and made data access feel effortless."
Rishi Singh answered the Quora question on reliability about a year ago: "I compared their data to others in the industry, and theirs was the most accurate one i found." He doesn't name the comparison set. The manufacturing review G2 excludes goes furthest, claiming "forecast accuracy jumped to 96 percent and our newest press line went live a quarter early." Read that one with the label G2 attached to it.
What users criticize
The complaints are mild, and every one sits inside a five-star review. The investment banking reviewer wrote:
"some reports can feel a bit too detailed, making it harder to quickly extract the key takeaways. Also, highly customized research sometimes takes longer than expected."
Verified User in Investment Banking, G2, 13 October 2026
The mid-market reviewer flagged "room for improvement in terms of customization and report presentation, particularly when specific business requirements need additional attention." The manufacturing reviewer found "The extensive data tables can feel overwhelming at first glance."
Sharper notes sit on the sister brand. On Research Intelo's Trustpilot page, Valeria Conti gave four stars in May 2026 and wrote "Pricing is a bit high, but overall, it's a reliable platform for quality market data." Hannah Brooks gave three stars that month: "the delivery speed on custom requests was slower than expected" and "communication could be sharper." All three Research Intelo reviewers carry the country tag IN.
Price against perceived value is the reservation that repeats. Conti's note is the only price complaint on a review site we could read, and the AI summaries of the Reddit thread describe the reports as expensive for the data and insights they deliver.
Post-sale support is the other gap. Those summaries also mention poor support after purchase, none of the seven public ratings describes service after delivery, and the FAQ's promised post-sales call with an analyst has no reviewer account behind it.
One CrowdReviews entry is worth reading in full, because the devil's in the details. Asked what they'd change, the July 2025 answer reads "The review does not mention any negative aspects, so based on the available information, there is nothing the reviewer would change about their experience." That sentence describes a review in the third person.
The same entry praises "the combination of professionalism, responsiveness, quick turnaround, and the depth of the data-driven, industry-tailored analysis."
↑ FACT SHEETRefunds, terms and the sample request
Once the PDF lands, the money's gone. Dataintelo's refund page says "we do not accept returns once a product has been delivered" and allows refunds only in exceptional circumstances at management's discretion. The FAQ is blunter: "payments once made are non-refundable."
Its terms put every dispute under Indian law in that country's courts, disclaim warranties on the accuracy and reliability of linked information, let Dataintelo name a buyer's organisation and logo in its marketing unless the buyer opts out by email, and bar anyone from using robots or extraction tools to create a copy of its listings and prices.
Keep that clause in mind on the homepage logo wall of 21 named companies: a logo there records a purchase under terms that allow the listing, and says nothing about the performance of the reports those customers bought.
A sample request form asks for 5 required fields (name, email, job title, company, phone) plus reCAPTCHA. The report page says the trial opens a sample dashboard, one related market dashboard for 30 days and 20 free stats queries, no card needed, and that the Speak to an analyst link connects you with someone who replies within one business day.
Dataintelo's ordering page sets custom delivery timelines by complexity and ships printed copies in 7 to 10 business days. A stitch in time saves nine here: give the sample a hard look before checkout, since it's the one stage where walking away is free.
Is Dataintelo reliable, legit and trustworthy?
Three checks separate reliable research reports from padded ones, and each takes under an hour. Compare the base-year value with the source the report names. Compare growth rates across the publisher's own adjacent reports, the way the six imaging pages fail. Then ask the analyst which primary interviews support the findings, since the RV page says its North American and European values were "validated through Dataintelo primary research with market participants."
Dataintelo is an operating research business with named founders, a Pune office, licence prices at checkout and a documented free sample, and reviewers on five sites describe delivered work. Reliable is a separate question, and on the older template the jury's still out. The company's own pages answer it unevenly: the newer template names sources and dates its revisions, while the camera pages contradict each other by billions.
How reliable are market research reports from any syndicated publisher? As reliable as the definition and sources behind each number, which is why our market research statistics page tracks who publishes what. Treat a Dataintelo number as a starting point for informed decisions, verify it against the named source, and use it to spot trends before you size a budget with it.
Its insights on market trends and potential growth opportunities are a draft for decision making, and the findings that matter get verified against a second source. Most of the risks sit in the single headline number. The segment tables, regional splits and company profiles carry the benefits.
Dataintelo alternatives
GlobalData wins when businesses need named analysts and market intelligence across sectors and can sit through a sales cycle. Its about page says 4,000 of the world's largest companies use it across consumer, retail, technology, healthcare and financial services; our GlobalData review and GlobalData pricing report cover the quote-only subscription. It loses on price visibility: Dataintelo shows four prices at checkout, GlobalData shows none.
Omdia suits technology and telecom teams who want accountable analysts and actionable intelligence on one sector, with research reports, forecasts and analyst support under one contract. Its about page claims 300+ analysts and consultants and 3,000+ topics; our Omdia review covers its coverage-area pricing. For one niche consumer market, a $4,200 Dataintelo report is the cheaper door, and businesses that only need one sizing table get there faster.
AlphaSense is the pick for global enterprises doing continuous due diligence on filings and expert calls. Vendr's anonymised buyer data puts the median at $18,750 a year across 41 purchases, from $10,000 to $51,000, per our AlphaSense review. Its platform features center on search across filings and transcripts, and a one-off sizing PDF sits outside them.
Exploding Topics fits the solo founder who wants industry trends and early insights over a forecast table, with trend analysis software in place of a PDF. The pricing page lists $39, $99 and $249 a month with a 7-day trial; our Exploding Topics review covers the gates. The full field, compared on price and coverage, sits in our market research tools ranking, the research and analytical tools ranking and the trend research ranking.
Verdict
Dataintelo is for businesses that need one niche market sized this week, with reports that carry segment insights and regional data, will take the free sample with no strings attached beyond five form fields, and will check the report's findings against the trade body the newer report pages cite. At $4,200 single user it's a fast, customisable answer with up to 10% of extra data points thrown in.
It isn't for businesses that need a refund route, a named author, or numbers that agree with the publisher's own neighbouring reports, as the $2.74 billion camera gap shows. Seven five-star ratings, one excluded by G2, can't carry a purchase on their own, and the market intelligence claims for Atlas still lack published performance data.
With caveats, it suits a team that reads the methodology block, uses the sample as a test, takes its insights on trends as a first draft for informed decisions, and treats the $7,900 corporate licence as the ceiling on what one PDF is worth.
